We were really looking forward to staying here especially for how much we splurged! Unfortunately check in was a nightmare. The office was closed and I had to wait in the pouring rain for someone to answer the second phone number. And this is after I already called to confirm someone was going to be there. I also was not informed that there are two locations. The location is great but not worth the price.

However, the staff neglected our safety by possibly double booking ? We aren’t even sure what happed to have someone have another room key and managed to come in to our room at midnight. We were left feeling violated and scared at night and the staff was no help they had a number on there site for after hours and they did not contact us . We only found out by a possible worker that wasn’t sure what was going on after . The only nice thing is they gave us our money back however we felt unsafe and created a traumatic situation with kids. (I will add this person that came into our room tried knocking then opened the door leaving us under the impression they knew someone would be inside ) the hotel also said they got one of our keys by a safe box ?? How did they come to get ahold of that we don’t know. Neither did the staff which is questionable.

Everything was perfect

They made a mistake with assigning rooms and gave the room I was staying in to a late check in family. At just before midnight I woke to some trying to get into my room. I got up and opened the door to find a group trying to figure out which is their room. Their key did not work for my room so they tried to contact the owner, and could not. They left and I tried to go back to sleep. Thirty minutes later, a knock on the door, their back asking to see my key, still unable to get ahold of the owner. They leave. Back to bed. At 1:00 AM someone claiming they are from the hotel is at my door. It looks like they mixed up the rooms. But instead of letting the other people know what room their key fits, they keep bothering me. Not much sleep at this place. No apologies no communication. Before I left, I wrote a message asking the owner to call me, no call. No integrity.

This place is cute and charming. The rooms are equipped with all you need, but small/ cozy. We enjoyed it and would stay again. But thing to consider when booking. The only mirror/ area to get ready/ brush your teeth is in the kitchenette area. The bathroom doesn’t have a mirror or sink. We were in cottage 2 and the angle of the tv/ bed made it hard to enjoy without a stiff neck at times. The property and room are well maintained. Only encountered one employee at check in, other than that I didn’t really see any staff. There is only enough parking for one car per unit/ no real guest parking if you were planning for that. Review says to rate the amenities but I do not recall this property having any?! If they did the check-in staff did not mention them nor did I see them besides they do have free wifi. And the room had a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and misc kitchen utensils for two. And we noticed it’s one of the few places in the area that do not allow dogs when 95% of the town is dog friendly from what we saw.it is centrally located to both north and south parts of cannon beach. All is in walking distance and the beach is a short walking block away (straight shot). And most importantly it is moments away from the Iconic Haystack rock. A must see!

Overall, a pretty nice place. Clean, quiet, and nicely located to the beach. A few technical things to note: the WiFi was so glitchy and intermttent, that it was the equivalent of not having it at all. Even after they supposedly "fixed" it, it still didn't work properly. TV remotes were too confusing to figure out how to use properly. No instrucdtions. And the fan the bathroom emitted a weird chemical odor.

Great cozy place. Walking distance to the beach, less than a block.. Room had kitchen with all the amenities. Haystack rock very close.

We liked the clean room. The cottage was also very close to the beach.

I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely book this place again. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful!

The property and room was clean. It was a cute place and walking distance to a lot of places. We only stayed 2 nights but no issues. The desk staff was pleasant and helped with parking. The parking is limited but if everyone uses the 1 spot per room no issues. We would stay again.
