OYO Waterfront Hotel - Cape Coral/Fort Myers, FL

I love the waterfront,hated the coffee option with cold coffee and powdered creamer

It was not what I expected.

the floor was wet, the bathroom needs lots of attention. No place to hang towels. An entrance lock is broken and has been for "two years" [?] People smoking on the balcony, disregarding signs.

Could get rid of the dust and on some surfaces. But overall it was good. I like the stuff.

Staff was super friendly and helpful throught our stay. The property is a bit older, but the room was decently large and we even got a beautiful balcony water front view without asking. While there, they were painting/renovating to make the building look nicer.

The hotel and room are extremely basic—bare-minimum accommodations, with no tower bar, no headboard or bed headrest, and outdated appliances that look like they’re straight out of the 1960s.

The place is run down not well maintained and the pictures are not what you get . It appeared to be a place you would see on a crime show !

Name was changed and we were not notified. Property condition was horrible. Hallways especially. We checked in and checked right back out and went to another hotel. The website photos were VERY deceiving and false advertising. I will be hoping to get our money back. One good thing-the guy at the desk was extremely pleasant. See above

That we got a ground floor room The light didn’t work, the refrigerator didn’t work, smoke alarm kept going off for no reason, found German roaches in our room, no water pressure in shower, it was run down and old and when we arrived three cop cars were there because something happened and we didn’t feel safe. Pictures of site are not accurate!!

It was a great stay. Room is an older room but was clean. Mike (front desk) was awesome and incredibly helpful. I would recommend.

Appears to be under a remodel. Dated hotel. Name of hotel is different than advertised. Face plate covers missing in the room. Smelled musty like mold. Heavy pot smoking with in the building was a turn off. Friendly staff however. I didn’t use the pool.

The front desk gentleman was nice and was understanding when we said we didn’t want to stay. Seemed quite rundown. Found a hair in the sheets when we pulled back the top cover. Kitchenette area was dirty and had rusty cabinets.

Horrible, would definitely not recommend this to anyone. First of all, the place is not a hotel, it's a motel, there is a temporary sign on the building, so we had no idea if we were in the right place. The place smelled like weed the minute we walked in. The room looked nothing like the pictures online, the bed looked like something you would find in a prison cell, with a big stain in the middle of the bed, gross. My husband and I walked in and walked out, and of course we were unable to receive a refund. Safe yourself a few dollars and grab a different hotel.

The Oyo Waterfront told me my reservation was cancelled by you and they had no other available rooms. Yet I was still charged for the stay.

It was a good hotel for the price. It did its job for the night. Great for fun loving people

The water view was great.
