Carmel Valley Lodge and Resort

Very comfy king bed and rustic charm enveloped the whole property. Teresa was awesome at check in and the breakfast was low key but so tasty - superb stay!! We’ll be back for sure!!

Was an amazing stay

Absolutely beautiful location - walking distance to the valley and short driving distance to Carmel by the Sea. Great front office service, amazing home made breakfast (above and beyond typical continental breakfast), and spacious rooms. The pool and hot tub were clean and warm.

They lit the fire pit for us when we wanted to sit there. It was our 60th wedding anniversary. I think a complimentary bottle of wine would have been appropriate. Also, real dishes for breakfast would make a difference.

The walls are rather thin. The people next door played loud music, etc.

So comfortable and quiet. Nice to have so many restaurants within walking distance. The daily breakfast was yummy and the staff was great! No complaints

Carmel Valley Lodge was amazing! There are so many positive things to comment on! The outdoor life size games like Chess, Connect 4, Jenga were super cool! The pool area was beautiful and quiet - I loved the loungers, the hot tub, the fire pit. My room also had a partially closed off front porch which I enjoyed sitting out there drinking coffee, listening to the birds. There aren't enough words to describe the greatness of the staff - from the greeting when I entered to the small talk about tv shows to the simple check out (P.S. they have a nice shop with lots of hand made items so bring extra spending monies!) Even the young woman setting out breakfast was kind and helpful! The room was lovely, I adore the fireplace, the look and feel of the room felt like home, it was clean and had all amenities needed! As a solo, female traveler I felt safe and taken care of here!

From the moment we arrived the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Loved the dog friendliness. Breakfast was a treat and fresh made items each day plus make your own waffles,too. Close to walk to eateries and wine tasting venues. With a lovely community park nearby.
