The coffee and yogurt and light breakfast in the morning was very nice, and the ability to fill water bottles for hikes was great. It goes unsaid that when you have to get ice bags and bottled water, it's time consuming and expensive. It's a great amenity! We will for sure be back! Thank you!

A very cute place and definitely a good value, especially when traveling with pets. Rooms are clean and a good size, and the pool was large enough and well maintained. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our only real complaint was the wifi, which was so weak that it was difficult to get the TV to work properly. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Clean, decent coffee for breakfast. After we learned there's bagels and cream cheese we went to a local grocery to get smoked salmon, baby greens, tomato and our next breakfast was truly royal! We also grabbed a fresh lemon from a lemon tree that grows on front of our patio there.

The room was very clean, specious, convenient, there was everything that we needed for our short stay. Facilities are somewhat old and maybe need refreshment but clean and still taken care if. Balcony was a fun bonus - we had our morning coffee there under a lemon tree. Area is super quiet, there is a small plaza very close - coffee, restaurant, gas, etc. We arrived late and the office was closed but they left a voice message with detailed instructions on how to get into our room. Since we did not have a connection and I did not receive the message on time, I called the number left on the office door and a lady helped me out, despite a late hour. They also offered coffee in the morning and the check out was pleasant as well. Very conveniently located close to Carmel-by-the-sea, Monterrey and Big Sur. I definitely recommend staying here!

Small cozy property nestled in the valley and a good value for the area. Rooms nicely furnished in mid century vibe. Liked the private patio facing the hot tub and pool. Pool and hot tub nice. It really is a comfortable property but a little more attention could be paid to the grounds and freshen up the patios.

Cozy, clean, and quiet place to stay. After a long day of hiking was hoping to sit in the hot tub, it wasn’t hot as we thought it would be. Other than that, loved the coffee and bagels in the morning. I would stay here again.

Such a cute place! Staff was amazing, room was clean and very nice size! Pool, spa, fire pit, ping pong. Good food right down the street. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Comfortable, upgraded, almost luxurious yet still motel convenient. Good resort amenities and nicely landscaped. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Good choices for places to relax, both inside and out. No housekeeping during the four nights we stayed. Previously, we were offered change of towels/soaps etc every third night.

Love the layout of the properly, it seems all the rooms have patios facing the pool, also features a hot tub, the rooms are so cute MCM design. Free coffee and pastries in the lobby whim is more like a nice living/dining room The hotel pillows could be upgraded, there were a but small and lumpy.

Loved walking to some small cafes in a quaint area. The location was great, including short drives to Carmel by the Sea and Big Sur. Went to watch the sun set nearly every night. Trip really got off on the wrong foot. One of my dogs was too sick to board, so my wife couldn't make it. I made the mistake of not buying trip insurances -- never again. So I asked if I could cancel, and there was only 24 hours notice, and the hotel said no. I realized it was my mistake, so hard to hold that against them. So I stayed nearly a week by myself. There were a couple of bugs in the room, but nothing crazy. They don't make up the room unless you ask. Overall, for the price, it was nice.

The area and the grounds were nice and well kept , staff was personable , very welcoming . I loved the vintage pieces of furniture !!! . The last thing is they still have old school keys !! Like stepping back in time . 10/10! Loved it . I will come back for sure ?
