Lone Star Inn

Nothing. I booked this hotel for two nights. When I came back to my room at night and turned off the lights to sleep, I found at least 10 cockroaches in the room — on the walls, under the bed, and especially behind the refrigerator, where there was a hole in the wall. There were roaches of different sizes, and some were even crawling up the walls and onto the ceiling. The bathroom also had flies, gnats, and moths. I immediately went to the front desk and told them I could not stay there. They offered another room, but after seeing that many roaches, I did not feel comfortable staying anywhere on the property and asked for a refund. Since the manager was not there that night, the hotel staff told me to come back the next morning. I left the hotel and ended up spending the night in the parking lot of another property because I could not bring myself to stay there. When I returned the next morning, I was told that because I booked through a third-party agency, I needed to have the agency send them a refund request, and they would refund me once they received it. I did exactly that. After the booking.com contacted them, however, the hotel completely stopped responding. They ignored my messages as well as the agency’s calls and messages. I never received any refund. The service was also terrible. At check-in, the manager barely looked at me and tossed my passport back to me. At least 10 cockroaches, a night spent in another property’s parking lot, terrible customer service, and a promised refund that I never received. I strongly recommend staying somewhere else. If the management sees this review, please respond to Booking.com’s refund request as soon as possible.

They never Open the door. Nobody was in the office. Office was by their self I call. Never answer the Phone. I have to leave and find another hotel. Worst service ever. No

Absolutely nothing about this place. The room was very crappy, I'm pretty sure I requested a queen bed are bigger not a tein.AC didn't work correctly. The fire alarm wasn't on the wall it was on the night stand next to the bed..

Had a big refrigerator..and the also have camera s in the front office ..so I felt very safe..the front office man was nice ..and also the afternoon guy... Didn't have a microwave.

Great location, very close to the venue of our event. Very easy check in/check out. Front desk staff very responsive to an issue with our room access card & I appreciated having the problem resolved so quickly! Would like to have a TV channel list by the bed, tv channels change VERY slowly and takes too long to find the station you are searching for. (just wanted to find local news & weather) A simple printed list would solve this problem. Did NOT like the heat/air system shutting down during the night, apparently it's on some kind of timer and doesn't allow it to run a normal cycle so the room got warmer than I'm comfortable sleeping in at night time. I usually bring a travel fan but had forgotten it this trip or it wouldn't have really been an issue.
