Great service and well maintained

The staff were nice, room was clean, breakfast was good, good location.

As Platinum members, we called at 8 a.m. to request a one‑hour late checkout. The man at the front desk informed us that the manager was not allowing any extensions due to a high volume of departures and rooms needing to be cleaned. Overall, the experience was average, and I would likely choose a different location in the future.

The hotel building and entrance aren’t huge, giving it a more intimate feel when you walk in the front doors, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was delicious. They had hot eggs, sausage and bacon, and potatoes each morning, as well as oatmeal, various cereals and pastries. The 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby was my favorite part. I needed that during my stay. Lastly the location of the hotel is excellent. It is right next to the freeways, making my drive over to the arena super easy for a concert I was going to - like, seriously easy. And there were so many cute restaurants right on the same street as the hotel. Lots and lots of options. I highly recommend going to Nick the Greek. Excellent greek food. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I will absolutely be staying here every single time I come to the Oakland area. Oh, also, the staff were all very polite and friendly. Fantastic hotel!!

The cleanliness & staff

Stayed here for a week, ideal stay to get to know the whole Bay Area! Easy to get to, Enough Parking, Speedy WiFi, Excellent Service. Just 2 Varieties of Breakfast but Good!

Staff was pleasant and room was neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. Overall stay was very enjoyable. I will definitely stay at this location again.

This hotel is good for a business purposes. It has what you need close to the freeway.

I especially like the friendliness of the staff. They are always willing to help with anything you need. They always make my stay very enjoyable.

Only problem is the lack of visible signage from the street. I passed by twice late at night without seeing it. Otherwise fine.

I liked the remodel of the room but I missed the magnified mirror that used to unfold from the wall by the sink. The room was clean, the staff was very kind. The breakfast and parking were fine as usual. We enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean, but the breakfast menu needs an update beyond the same items every day.

I was very pleased with my stay recently. I thought my room was very well kept and clean. The staff were very helpful without being intrusive every time they saw me. I also appreciated that there was some covered parking available since the days I stayed were particularly hot. And lastly, I thought the quality of the breakfast was impressive. The bar isn’t high, but the breakfast was consistently good, organized, and tasty. No complaints.
