Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport was perfect! Bed was really comfortable. Was really nice that breakfast opened at 5am during the week so we could grab breakfast before leaving. If you left earlier than that, they had a bag with some breakfast items for you to take to go.

This hotel is not very clean and well maintained. Staff was slow and appeared disinterested in their jobs, not very friendly. I think the options in that area (the airport) are very limited so one is a captive audience to the poor management b

The couch angle had a semi blocked view of the tv so we moved it a bit and found so much junk underneath (crumbs, cereal, small bottles, cereal bar wrappers), very gross. Tv remote was broken so employee at front desk gave us the one to the main lobby’s tv. The price was three times the amount of a much fancier hotel we stayed at two days prior and it was also three times as large. It’s a crime how much you charge!!

Good hot tub, pool and workout room, kids had a great time and loved the buffet style breakfast. Could not find a bad thing to say if I tried. Thanks for your hospitality!! Will be back again

The hotel is tired and a bit dingy. However, of the many hotels near the airport, Comfort Inn was the only hotel to provide airport shuttle before 5 am. The desk clerk cheerfully provided us with a sack full of snacks as she loaded our luggage, gave us a step stool for boarding, and drove us the short distance to the airport. Likewise, the clerk at check in the night before was friendly and helpful. Hotel choices in Cedar Rapids are limited, at times, because of the AI data center, employing thousands of employees, being built a mile from airport.

Quiet and close to highways. Staff was not over bearing and let us be. Beds were comfortable.

The elevator was slow and there was some things in the hotel that need to be repaired and made nice again, but overall the room was clean and close to the airport. They had games available so it’s family friendly in that way. The ac stayed cold which is always good. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay again.
