Good breakfast. Nice snacks and refreshments in the evening.

Great value, nice staff . Room is spacious but furniture is a bit outdated and layout doesn’t help. Breakfast is very simple with good food but not so many options, specially fruits.

The king bed was filthy!! Stains all over which grossed us out. The sheets weren’t in the right size. I couldn’t find any ice container so I went to the front desk. The employee told us that there was one in the freezer. He stated that he would deliver one to our room. We waited and waited and I gave up. I went back to the front desk and apparently the employee forgot to deliver the ice container. The breakfast there wasn’t that great and we ended up eating out. We won’t return back to that hotel.

The property was clean and the staff was helpful. However the in room amenities that we actually paid for and looking forward to using were not great - as an example, while there is an in suite kitchen, it did not even have the basic pots and pans, the ladels, and the cutlery. For the little bit of stuff in there, it was unclean and worn down that it could not br used. The in room phone even was not working. Housekeeping is alternate days and the crew never filled up basic things like toilet paper etc. my experience with Hilton is typically good, but this time was not the best. Finally, they could not even link my hilton honors id to my booking and that too added to my disappointment.

Superb

When we entered the room we were surprised to see a full size fridge and dishwasher plus the cute little stove top. I wasn’t expecting that when we booked. Plus the “Welcome Joy” greeting on the TV was fun! The shore was luxurious and so was the bedding. We enjoyed a nice rest after a busy day of moving our student in. The breakfast was delicious and well stocked. We didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy the amenities. We didn’t arrive until after 10:30pm and left before 10am.

I liked the location and the parking space. It's very easy to reach the campus or downtown urbana. Check in was easy and staff was helpful when asked. We stayed for almost a month in the end, and there was cleaning 3 times only. The grills downstairs are disgusting, desperate for cleaning and maintenance. There is saltpeter on the ceiling above the swimming pool. The Hotel is desperately needing maintenance. Breakfast was standard, but many days cutlery missing, coffee cold... There is a lot to do there. It can be a great hotel, needs a proper handyman doing maitenance there and perhaps a happier cleaning team.

Nice room, clean facilities

Room was almost 700 square feet. Breakfast was good. Check-in was a problem. Room was not ready for almost 45 minutes.

Room was very quiet, which I very much appreciated. The breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about. There was a variety every day - so that was appreciated. Room was very clean & the hotel is located near the local custard shop!

Very nice hotel

The breakfast buffet had lots to choose from and tasted good too. Plenty of seating for families. The room was spacious and included the bedroom separate from the kitchen and living area.

Property was very nice and convenient for my trip. Nice pool and very clean, swimmers said water was chilly but a bit humid and hot for those of us watching. Breakfast was just ok. No cups for coffee, no forks or napkins while we were dining. Room was perfect!!

This property is in a great location, and definitely has great space. That being said, it needs a refresh, IMO. And there was clearly a lack of attention to cleaning in the rooms. Public areas seemed in better shape and there is a very nice breakfast room with good light and wired tables for work space if needed. I had high hopes based on reviews and knowledge of the Homewood Suites brand, but will probably look elsewhere for future stays if pricing is similar.
