Very well appointed, clean, well staffed historical property right in the heart of the historic district. Extremely close to worthwhile horse drawn carriage rides and shopping galore at the famed city market and small street side shops. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, plentiful and fresh! The staff were so friendly for breakfast and afternoon cheeses & wine, also complimentary! Valet service went beyond plus the bicycle taxis were also readily available and reasonable.

Great location. Near city market, E Bay restaurants, historic district and waterfront. Great amenities like breakfast, afternoon wine, lemonade/water/cookies in the lobby. A real gem.

This was the perfect location for us. So many of the sights were within walking distance.

The hotel is within walking distance to several points of interest and great restaurants. The wine and cheese offerings in the afternoon and the breakfast in the rooftop solarium were wonderful. The staff, housekeepers and valets were all helpful and friendly. Shout out to Michael the valet when we arrived.

The location was perfect. The hotel has parking, we parked the car and walked everywhere. The breakfast had many choices. The room was clean and bed was comfy. I’d definitely stay there again.

The best thing was the greeting we received from the front desk staff, Sabrina. I have never visited a hotel where I felt so welcomed, taken care of, and given all necessary information in such a friendly professional manner. The hotel lived up to its reputation for excellence. If we go back to Charleston, we will definitely stay there.

Only issues I have is the bathrooms are very small and the shower water pressure is not good but no big deal!

Needed a comfortable chair in the room. Only had a very uncomfortable desk chair. There was plenty of room. Also no hooks for wet towels in the bathroom.
