We had a lovely stay here in Charleston. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are all nicely updated and spacious. The staff was wonderful and gracious and helpful. If you want to stay in the historic area and within walking distance to everything, this is the perfect hotel.

I liked the amenities. Coffee shop, restaurant, roof top bar and pool.

Beautiful hotel!! The staff went above and beyond with a smile! Reasonable rates. Has a great restaurant and bar. Also has a wonderful coffee shop and a small gift shop. Its location is perfect! Right in the French Quarter, close to everything. We parked the car and walked everywhere The hydration station on our floor (6th) had no ice and the water was hot. So that was kind of a bummer

Location and extremely friendly staff. Room coffee maker didn’t work and the was no ice on the 5th floor.

Great central location to shopping & restaurants. Clean, updated rooms with an amazing pool and sitting areas. Highly recommend.

Staff was great - the valet parking was very slow to respond, however.

Amazing place, great location and friendly hospitality

The property is very pretty and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool would be much more useable if they added a ledge along the sides for people to be able sit in 7’ depth. There were day pass users in the pool which made it very crowded and because of the depth, that area was unusable it would be great if there was a way to add seating around the outside of the pool too. There was never enough lounge chairs around the pool. Also because it’s an older building, it isn’t as soundproof as other hotels.

Staff was excellent, especially at the restaurant iron rose. We loved Abigail our server and made sure we ate every morning with her. Definitely will be returning.

The property is beautiful. We’ve been going to The Mills House for years. We brought our small dog & no pick up trash containers for dog waste outside in the area referred for dogs to go. Other than that, it’s fabulous!!! The staff is wonderful, breakfast amazing & the BEST location! Go to dinner at 82 Queen. Just a few steps away, top notch food and incredible atmosphere, very southern! I’m from SC so us southerners love Charleston & The Mills House!!

The property was clean overall, but the showers were absolutely horrible. There was barely any water pressure, which made the experience very frustrating. For the amount they charge per night, I would expect basic amenities like a properly functioning shower to be up to standard. Honestly, it felt like staying at a Motel 6. Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price!!!

The staff was friendly and everything was super clean. The bar downstairs was nice and they had a cute fountain area that was a great spot to hangout. They had a lot of activities/things going on. I wish they had a little print out in the room that explained what time some of the things were. It was verbally said to us but we had to ask again for the information because we forgot by the time we got in to our room and settled.
