Overpriced dump in a decent location

Thank you very much. So surprised we over paid. We don’t know. Hotel return money. Beautiful people.

The room was clean, the property is well-kept, friendly staff, great breakfast and wine hour in the evening. Inn’s location is central to everything. There is a construction of some sort happening next door, but we were out and about for the majority of the day so it wasn’t a nuisance to us.

Conveniently located near the Old Charleston Market, the Meeting Street Inn is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We paid $25 per night to park in their shared lot two blocks away which we found to be a tremendous bargain in the area. Hyman's Seafood is a block away and is fabulous! My only disappointment: we didn't encounter a ghost.

Hotel room was very clean and fit our needs well. Loved the added touches of wine and cheese in the evening and cookies at night. It is a historic building but bathrooms and rooms were nicely updated. There could be more regular maintenance on a/c units as we noticed quite a bit of dust.

This is the most beautiful, gorgeous stay i have ever stayed in. I wish I added more nights to enjoy how peaceful and lovely it was. Worth the price !

Staff were great. Floors very dirty in the room and carpets were wet. Showers not very clean.

The breakfast was good and free and the location was in the heart of the city. The room was dated and needed upgrading. There was no bellhop to take luggage to room. The staff were very friendly. Overall three stars.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and available. They worked to correct problems that occurred.

The valet parking at checkin was not good, not enough spaces to park and unload baggage. Had to drive around the block 4 or 5 time until a space was available. The valet was the janitor, he did the job well but he is not what someone expects as a valet. The continental breakfast was supposed to be available at 7am, it was always late by 15 minutes. I'm not trying to be over critical. I stay there whenever I'm in Charlston and it has gotten worse over the years. All in all my stay was good, it is a convenient location and the staff has always been accommodating.

The room was spacious, clean, and it was authentic to the age of the Inn. Loved the court yard and location was right in the middle of everything. Great walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Also near many attractions

The room had a school vibe with modern amenities. It was clean. I loved that it was center to everything we wanted to do. The Charleston Market is literally across the street and the French Quarter is within minutes of walking. The breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and cookies at night was a special touch. Thank you!

Rooms are hard to keep cool. Beds not comfortable at all. Room was clean, breakfast was good & wine & cheese was nice. Staff was very friendly.

I have nothing negative to say. It was a wonderful experience all around. Every single employee went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Genuinely friendly folks, wine and cheese, the cookies and milk, breakfast: All the food was excellent. We could literally walk out our door and be at the City market, carriage rides and anything else we needed. One block away was target for the last-minute things you forgot. Perfect experience. Bravo- we will be back. N/A

We had a nice stay there. We stayed one night. It was close to everything. The only thing we didn't like was paying $65 for valet parking for one night.

Not a good property if you have troubles with stairs or tight spaces, unless you specify a room close to the check.in area.

My husband and I stayed here for our 15 year anniversary. It was close to all the main attractions and easy to get around. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt safe and I definitely will be returning to stay here once again.

Room and bathroom was really clean Excellent staff Great one night adventure!! Would love to stay longer next time.
