The Charleston Place

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with blackout drapes and convenient push-button room controls. The pool deck and bar were excellent, and housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. I was also impressed with how clean the entire property was, including the hallways, elevators, and carpeting. The only area for improvement was the air conditioning. While it worked well during the day, it was inconsistent overnight. Even with the thermostat set to 65°F, the room often felt warmer than expected, and the unit occasionally made noticeable noise. Ice delivery was also a little slow but always arrived. One thing future guests should be aware of is the additional daily fees. The $40 resort fee and $62 overnight parking charge add significantly to the overall cost of the stay. Overall, the outstanding service, cleanliness, comfortable accommodations, and amenities far outweighed the minor issues. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

Great location, Great staff, excellent hotel staff.

There is no better place to stay in Charleston! Everything is walking distance. The pool is top notch. D. Hymn’s restaurant is a must. The hotel staff are exquisite. There is nothing else to say, but check it out for yourself!

The staff, the grounds, the amenities made this hotel special in every way

CP is an oasis in the middle of Charleston. The staff are very attentive, they care for your every need and interest. The elevated 4th floor pool with a retractable glass roof is awesome. You feel like you’re at a resort with personal staff attention. Highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the hotel, the staff and food! Everything was amazing!

The room was extremely clean and was completely supplied with anything we might need. We only had one little snag. We were told to leave our luggage in the lobby and someone would bring it to our room. We waited over an hour and still no luggage. We went down to the lobby and the person we spoke to was a little confused as well. She informed the manager of the situation and they begin to search for the items. They found them outside the entrance of the building. But all was good just a little mix up. You will love being able to walk to every thing and our balcony was amazing as well

The Charleston Place is an iconic hotel in the French Quarter of Charleston. The decor was elegant, the rooms were magnificent, the bed was very comfortable, the pool was refreshing and the food at the Thoroughbred Club was delicious.

The staff was incredibly nice and so helpful! The room was amazing! Beautiful and comfortable with such elegant features. We will definitely be back and thank you for such a nice weekend stay.

The absolute best hotel experience my wife and I had in a long time! Everything was designed and maintained at the highest level! We couldn't be more happy with our room and the pool.

This was the most beautiful property I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at several 5 star hotels. The food was excellent along with the beauty and location of the property made it the perfect choice for my vacation in Charleston
