The attention to detail was amazing.from the room decor to the breakfast baskets. And the location was great so convenient to everything that you will want to see.

Incredible little apartment style room. Friendly front staff! Property has a nice library and coffee shop onsite and perfect for walking around Charleston.

Our room was large and clean. The kitchenette was a plus. We loved the quaint picnic basket continental breakfast every morning. We will definitely come back.

The location was central in French quarter area and close to King st. The hotel offered a wonderful jeep service that provided rides within a two mile radius with pleasant and professional drivers. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a private terrace. The bathroom sink had sand like sediment coming out of the faucets. We complained to front desk but nothing was done. The water pressure and temperature was inadequate for our showers. We found one live cockroach in the room and immediately got rid of that. Thankfully that was a one time incident. We received daily breakfast basket in the mornings but was for a one person portion. We had to make a call to correct that. Subsequent deliveries were better but fruits were still for less than the four people staying in the room. For the price, I expected a better stay.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated.

This property was beautiful, and interesting. The room was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast, the pool, the access to the coffee shop, the library and it's use for gathering by the hotel, all a great experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Restoration. What a unique hotel! The room was spacious with exposed brick, high ceilings and original hardwood floors. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, as was the restaurant with gorgeous views of the city. The location was very convenient to shopping, the university as well as the French quarter. Pricing on Expedia made this stay a reality. Thanks for helping me make this a great experience with your great pricing!

We love the one bedroom residences; however, this time around the residence felt dated. The bathroom especially. Needs fresh paint, bathroom is in need of an update; ie grout cracked and old, molding. The bed was not comfortable as well as sheets weren’t that crisp and soft, rather hard texture.

Great location. Walking distance to everything. Room was nice and big. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Hotel and staff were great overall. A few negatives. We stayed on the floor below the restaurant and it was very noisy after they closed. All you heard was people walking around and furniture being moved for cleaning every night. Also, if you don’t want to hear your neighbors, be sure that your room is not adjoining to the next one. We heard them clearly and knew when they were there because the lights came through the door. Lastly, there is construction going on right next door so take that into consideration as well.

This is a cool boutique hotel at a great location just off of Lower King. Great decor and the suite I had was spacious and with nice little touches. Highlights are comfortable beds, a great coffee shop downstairs, and location. Gave it four stars because I had let the staff know weeks in advance that I’d like to request an early check in or a place to do work and neither were accommodated, also no hot water in my shower. For one night, perfectly fine.

Great stay. Quiet. Right in the middle of downtown. Valet parking is a must. The breakfast baskets were fun. You get a discount at the coffee shop when you stay here.

Great hotel. Our room had a living room space and kitchenette in addition to a huge bathroom. Loved the picnic baskets for breakfast and the happy hour wine and nightly cookies and milk! Great location for exploring historic Charleston.

A breakfast basket was delivered each morning. Each day was different. One day was a breakfast sandwich and fruit, the next was a small quiche, yogurt, fruit and a croissant. They stock the refrigerator with soft drinks and a small jar of pimento cheese with crackers at no additional charge. They have a Jeep that they will take you up to two miles in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying there on our next trip to Charleston.

Awesome boutique property in the heart of downtown. High-end decor with lots of special touches- hand delivered breakfast basket, pool, nightly cocktail hour, complimentary Jeep to shuttle you around town. We loved it!

We enjoyed the location, spacious and clean room, gracious staff, wine/cheese nights, and availability of the jeep for rides to tours/dinners.
