Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Charleston West by IHG

The staff was excellent and we really liked the indoor pool area with some outdoor seating. the little restaurant on site wasn’t bad and there was a few other places to eat within walking distance.thanks

Wonderful gentleman at the front desk

Receptionist kind and hotel clean.

They didn't offer coffee or water like a lot of hotels do for guests, but honestly made me feel like a begger (at the bar) when I asked for some water for my bottle. It was also a no smoking facility, but we had to tell desk staff that we could smell smoke in our bathroom coming from the vent. There was mold in the bathroom and shower curtain had a stain.

The pool and breakfast are amazing. The staff goes above and beyond and bonus, it’s dog friendly. The hotel was a bit warm in the common areas. (IE halls, lobby, and elevator.

There were ants on our ac unit because something was spilled but once we cleaned it up it was ok.

Wonderful staff, comfortable beds, beautiful pool, great food Like most hotels, the carpets/floors could really use a good deep cleaning.

Food was ok, but service at the breakfast was fantastic.

I chose the location because of the sunbathing self in the pool so my toddler’s could enjoy the pool - it didn’t disappoint. The rest left lots of room for improvement and though staff was nice and helpful, overall I didn’t feel comfortable during my stay.

My favorite hotel in the Charleston area. Quiet and friendly staff.

We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.

Very clean and well maintained

The beds are super comfortable and everything was clean staff was also friendly The hot tub wasn't working, our shower wasn't draining properly, and we had a lot of ants in our room

The location was great! Late check out was a plus, noon is perfect Very outdated furniture in the room. Added photos. Stains on the bottom of the bed skirt. Looked dirty, bug in the ceiling squished, stains on the ceiling from water spots, tape on walls and pictures from someone before, candy under the bed. Stove top was also dirty from spilled food from previous guest. For $250 only 1 night this room should have been perfect. I also notified the check out attendant and her solution was she would find out who cleaned that room. No apology or discount offered. I will not return to this location.

Beautiful hotel. Pool was very nice and rooms were very clean There was a party of people hogging the hot tub for over an hour and we didn’t get to use it at all
