We were left stranded at the Charlotte airport with a flight cancelation. What a wonderful surprise to find the Hilton Garden Inn close to the airport, with a free shuttle to/from the airport provided. They prioritized an early check-in for us and gave us water while we waited. The staff was so sympathetic to our story of being left stranded by the airline and eager to make our stay a pleasant one. The hotel itself is clean and modern, featuring a snack shop and on-site restaurant. We were really happy with our stay there.

Yes, I checked in after 11pm, but I did not feel welcome t check-in, rather I felt like I interrupted the team’s conversation. Once a guest gets in front of the agent, they were supposed to stop what they were doing and give 100%. This did not happen.
