Sonesta ES Suites Charlottesville University

Everything Nothing

Very good

Superb

This place was very guest friendly. The staff were very nice. It has sports equipment and a small court. The breakfast was good. Well done, Sonesta.

Good Location and spacious room A little dated

Clean and comfortable Nothing

We went to Charlotesville to see a concert at John Paul Jones Stadium. The hotel was an easy walk to venue. There are also plenty of eating and shopping around hotel. Easy drive or Uber to downtown area. They take pets which was a huge bonus for us. Good free breakfast. Weekend price expensive. $75 pet fee.

Superb

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very comfortable room, kitchenette and full sized fridge was welcome, super clean. Breakfast was typical but good (even the coffee!). Only hitch was a slightly abrupt front desk clerk (the other couple I dealt with were lovely). Parking was tight tho I did get a spot. Didn’t have my dog with me but looked like a great place for pets, big grassy area with benches and bins for waste bags.

Staff was very accommodating and nice.

Very good

Great option close to the University. Comfortably fit my family of 5. Nice breakfast in the morning and serviceable gym. Overall great stay and would definitely stay here again when visiting UVA.

Very good

The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. The room needs a refresh. Window blinds have small holes in them, shower curtain smells sour, mattress made my back hurt, furniture looks a little beat up.

This was our second time staying here. The staff are all helpful and friendly. The rooms are perfect for space, comfort and cleanliness. We love the two bedroom 2 bathroom suites for privacy and space to gather. Great location to be able to walk to stores, restaurants and nature. Kathy at the front desk was amazing and made the best first impression to our group and was there for all our questions and neeeds throughout. Nothing to not like.

We loved staying here- it was clean, convenient, comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Ms. Kathy

Staff weren’t so friendly, they were vey loud talking when people were at breakfast time

We really love staying at this hotel. The check in staff are always so super friendly and they do such a nice job of welcoming dogs. Also, enjoy the breakfast too!

Room was clean and large. The staff was friendly. Walking distance to Barracks rd shopping area.

The staff at the front desk and the Gentleman that does breakfast were so very helpful and friendly. It really felt welcoming and like coming home after a busy day. Amazing service!
