After driving 6 hours, I was hoping for the same type of experience as last month, which is specifically why I booked this hotel again. I was met with a sign taped to the front "Stepped away for a moment. Please have your ID and card ready". I waited for about 7 minutes and in the meantime, the maintenance employee was trying to track the front desk attendant to get me checked in. Upon arriving in my room, I noticed the entire bottom door sweep was detached from the door and you could see clear out in to the hallway and the room was freezing. I went back down to ask if I could please have another blanket and if maintenance could please come and fix the door sweep. I offered to wait downstairs so she would not have to leave the front desk and run it up to 5th floor, but she told me she had to go to an upper level to find a blanket. She brought a blanket up to my room about 10 minutes later, which I appreciated. The room was definitely not as clean as it was the last time. The bottom of the shower door was orange which was a bit icky. The common areas and hallways were most definitely not as clean as they were the last time - lots of loose trash on the carpets, overflowing trash cans (the maintenance employee was working on emptying them while I was checking in, so I was glad for that). Breakfast was good. Staff was great. Cleaning could have been a bit more thorough in the room before we stayed. Cleaning during the trip is limited to every 4th day for a full clean and every other day for towels etc.

The staff was wonderful and welcoming and it was a nice property. Perfect for our trip. Basic room with all we needed. The breakfast was wonderful with many options and very tidy. The pillows are my only complaint. Too soft. Everything else was awesome.

Nice size lobby with a pool table, tv and board games. No swimming pool and needed to have outside trash cans emptied.

1 chair in the room with a roll desk to eat on, small night desk tables by the bed, no dressers to put clothes. Overall the room space was large but lots of wasted space. I love minimalistic but needs to be efficient at least

Convenience to our event Rooms were EXTRA small and way overpriced for a $300 a night room. No coffee pot not microwave dirty shower with long black hair in it. Disgusting!

condescendingly) like I did something wrong for asking. My fault was I didn’t do enough research, I was moving across country and dealing with a lot of hotels and I failed to realize there was no closet or storage space at all in these rooms. I was there for 3 weeks, over $3000k spent and I had to make my own beds, I’m talking clean sheets after a week, I stripped them and remade them bc the staff could not be bothered. I did it twice(once after each week). I even asked after about 8 days if I could borrow a broom and swept my own room. The only thing house keeping does is give you towels and empty the trash every other day, that they do well. One elevator was broke and the second elevator would take a solid 5 min to arrive, I rarely took it, but got a lot of great stair stepping exercise to the 4th floor, which I don’t mind. Breakfast is pretty good, they do have a lot of options. If you are doing more than a night or two max then I would suggest looking elsewhere. They also have no on site laundry to wash your clothes, so you will have to find a laundry mat.

Booked this property four months before arrival on Expedia as "pay at property" for a weeks stay. Was emailed in the morning of check in I needed to update my card information by 7:15 pm. I updated my info by 5pm but when I arrived at the hotel my reservation had been canceled. Was given a dirty room at my original rate for the first night but was forced to rebook the remaining nights at almost double the original rate. The room had a dirty hand print on the headboard, food or dirty on the wall around the garbage can and hair in the bathroom. (pictures available). Not a good experience and will not be back.

The room wasn’t that clean, the shower had a lot of mildew in the corners, there was a splatter of something on the wall near the bed. Air conditioner didn’t work that well. Not what I would expect for a Hilton hotel! Very bad experience!

Everything and everyone was excellent. The service was too!

Nice place to stay if you are passing through or doesn’t plan to spend a lot of time in the room. There was nothing wrong with this property during my visit. The only issue was the duck poop outside that covered the parking lot and entrance into the hotel.

There was a significant amount of mold in the ceiling tile directly outside of our room. After waking up two days in a row with a sinus headache, scratchy throat and itchy irritated eyes I investigated the room further. I discovered mold in the AC unit vent. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk they said they would have their head of maintenance come up and take a look. However, their demeanor suggested they did not believe me because they said “there can’t be mold the properties only two years old”. One head of maintenance came up to the room and looked at the AC vent he said he does not believe in his mold but he believes that it is dust and moisture from the AC unit. Well, that is exactly what mold is made of… Moisture and dust. (My 15 year old knew that and said as much as soon as the maintenance supervisor walked out of the room when I told the front desk that we would need to check out and requested a refund they told me I would need to contact Expedia because that is who I booked through. I immediately contacted Expedia, who reached out to the front desk and requested a refund, and the hotel said they would refund the last two nights but that they could not do anything for the nights we had already stayed. Although I understand that we did utilize the room for those two nights, we utilize the room under unhealthy conditions and the hotel was not willing to do anything to try and rectify the situation. I have photos.

It was a clean no frills hotel. The pillows were awful. We got a poor nights sleep because of the noise coming from the room above us. Not really the fault of the hotel but next time we will choose a different hotel.

The general manager, Shawna and other most were very rude hateful looks and speech. They need to be replaced immediately. They cator to some. They gave me a dirty smelly ( like dog poop), and refused to give me another room five (5) consecutive days. Place me in another room dsy 4, just to take from me and placed me back in the same room again with the dog poop smell. They placed me in another room that was too warm. Then placed me in another room. Close to the ppl who were stalking me, and wished to do bad things to me. The roo. With the dog poop, they gave another room to a guess who complained about it not getting cleaned ( he couldn't live with his own dirtiness. They mgmt gave him a fresh room while telling me that the hotel was fully booked and had no vacant rooms for me to be switched with. I will not ever rent front Tru by Hilton ( 1570 Greenbrier pkwy, chesapeake, va) ever again. An all black staff is rudeness, hateful looks, always with a frown towards me. And I heard others agreed with me. Get rid of the general manager and get her out there now!!! No reason for her to continue to be there rude- harsh hatefully speaking to ne as I'm nor a paying customer who deserves respect and kindness. Ditto. From what's written above.

the eggs were barely edible. I tried the oatmeal it was not edible. some of the fruit was spoiled. the next morninf we left the facility ans paid for breakfast. 3/4 of the light fixtures either didn't work or were missing bulbs. the dead bolt on the door did not align with the casing preventing us to securely lock the room. the thermostat to control the a/c was not functioning properly.
