SureStay Hotel by Best Western Christiansburg Blacksburg

Just shower in room 327, then walk around on the carpet that feels sticky in some areas, after walk back in the shower, which is white, and watch the colour of your feet as it dirties the tub. Now I am a clean freak, so I don't like to wear shoes indoors. I find it gross that you would walk outside in the streets, then in your house or room. Now I can't blame the hotel, as other guests may walk outside and don't care, and it's carpet, so it holds the garbage. Hotels should have rooms with SPC flooring and tile bathrooms as an option, or shampoo rugs more often, but my stay there involved wearing slippers in the room, changing in the shower and putting on my shoes at the bathroom door, as no way I would let my clean feet touch the carpet floor and then all in my pants as I dressed.

Staff were excellent, but the place was 2 star at best

Don’t be scared because this property is definitely not on the newer side of hotels. BUT, they staff is super nice and whoever keeps this place clean and sanitized does a pretty good job! we don’t usually stay in Christiansburg, but for move-in rates were so high everywhere! This hotel was pretty reasonable so we picked it and liked it! it’s just a little on the outdated side

Hotel is clean and offers the necessities. Rooms on the smaller side but worked well for me. Some very inconsiderate guys were outside past 9pm, blaring their music and peeing in the parking lot. Staff got onto them and they packed up and moved to another side of the building. Very inconsiderate of them but staff handled it well. I didn't see hot foods for breakfast but they had the other standard stuff. I would stay again.

Basic amenities , very clean and comfortable

This is my third time at this hotel (VT parent) and we always return to this hotel as it is very clean, convenient and with excellent parking. Also they accept pets, for an additional fee. Will be returning back!

The rooms were surface level clean but are in need of a good deep clean to get the build up cleaned out of crevices and small repairs to address missing screws and such. My biggest complaint is the overwhelming smell of smoke in a non smoking facility. Staff were very nice and accommodating.

The staff was very friendly and the venue was very presentable.

Carpet in room might have been recently cleaned. Carpet felt wet and room smelled very strongly of cleaning products.

Front desk staff were professional and pleasant. Room was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Carpet in the room felt dirty but didn’t look dirty. Breakfast area was clean and had light food options: fruit, cereal (hot and cold), waffles & bagels, as well as breakfast bars. Coffee was good.

The staff at this location is phenomenal. They are so pleasant so helpful and wanna take care of you in the biggest way possible. When we had TV issues because the remotes didn't work and some things didn't happen the general manager stepped up. Got us a brand new TV for our room. With that said, she says she holds high standards for all her guests and I truly believe that.

We have stayed here a couple of times and very happy with everything.

This stay was well worth the cost. The staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The only thing that would make it better is adding eggs or sausage or bacon to the breakfast. The breakfast was adequate but had no hot food. I would stay here again no problem. A little distance from the interstate too.

Room was clean and felt great. Staff was very helpful!

Accessible room was clean and well lit. The common areas were clean and great for mealtimes. I appreciated the laundry facility.

The elevator was out of service. Front desk states it was being worked on and wo wild be back up that evening. But it was not, and we never saw any work being done. Just a paper sign reading “Out of Service”
