Tropical Inn is an okay place to stay if you just need a place to crash for a night or two, but if you are looking for a decent hotel experience at all, do not stay here. It is located close to a bus stop, but the price isn’t cheap enough to make up for the complete lack of amenities and somewhat dirty and broken down rooms. The shower was pretty dirty, the air conditioner leaked yellowish water, the cabinets were missing drawers and doors, and the TV didn’t work. The host desk was frequently unstaffed, although there was a number you could call if you really needed something.

Location. The room was well managed. Nice pool but we didn't get a chance to experience it. Staff was nice. The grounds were clean and well maintained. I'm writing an extra sentence to make my comment long enough to post. Paying an extra $10.00 for parking whcich should come with booking the room. Paying for parking is petty to ask the customer to pay for parking. There was plenty of parking spaces so having the customer pay for parking is just gouging the customer

The room was clean. The bed was a bit soft for my liking but I prefer a very hard mattress. The front desk attendant was very helpful. Even bringing toilet paper to my room at 9pm. The water pressure in the shower was lacking a bit. But the water was hot and I had clean towels so no worries there.

Next day we asked and the host gave us another room on the first floor and it didn't have any issues. One thing though - both rooms had AC too close to the bed so it was uncomfortable. Location is pretty good and it's clean.

We enjoyed the pool the afternoon we arrived and had family visit with us that evening. The $10 fee for parking was excessive. We could have parked on the street for the weekend and not paid anything.
