The room was clean and dry, There was a variety at the breakfast bar. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Great value for the price. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed in the west wing and there was ants everywhere. All in my food and on the bathroom floor. Other than that everything was good.

Upon Check-In, both the ladies were very kind. I did ask for our two rooms to be together and they didn’t mind. However, we booked this because there was a pool for my kids to swim since we had been on the road all day. The pool was not sanitary enough for them to even dip a toe.

Cleanliness, quietness and pleasant staff

We had 6-7 rooms this past weekend and 3 of the guests had similar complaints about the property uncleanliness and maintenance issues. Just for reference, our room experience: 1st room was on the 2nd floor of the main building, the safety door wouldn’t lock and cleaning supplies left in the room. 2nd room, 701 in the state house. Tried to adjust the air conditioner was in the room for 20 minutes before maintenance came and room temp would not go below 75. Maintenance guy came, couldn’t get it to work, called someone on the phone and that person advise that I wait another 10-15 to see if it worked… air never worked. It was set to restricted (but not aligned with the outside temps). 3rd room, 702, room was not cleaned see attachments for reference. HORRIBLE 4th room 707, Again AC set to restricted. Room temp 76, before we left for banquet. Husband was sweating trying to get dressed. The front desk tried to assist, but could not get it working even offered room 706, but upon entry the heat hit you in the face. 5th room back in main building. Air worked but room appeared to be in middle of remodel with paint patches on the wall throughout the room. Less than 24 hours, 5 rooms, 5 horrible experience. Best thing about the stay, the pleasant front desk staff day and night!

The hotel has a warm, efficient and welcoming vibe. Clientele was a mixture of skilled labors working on a nearby project, little league teams, and random folks. Everyone was respectful, and staff set the tone. The property was well staffed with experienced personnel who were constantly moving around. Plenty of parking, nice furnishings and better than usual breakfast. Only stayed one night but will definitely return when in the area.

There is no elevator. This would have been nice to know ahead of time. Very inconvenient!
