Best Western Clifton Park

My room was fine. The staff at the hotel who waited on me was great. My only issue was the bathroom facilities really need to be updated plumbing for the toilet was very bad.

Book earlier so you can find rooms at other hotels.

Check in was to be after 3. I was not able to get into the room until almost 4pm. We walked into the hallway at the other end of the hotel that was closest to my room. We were met with a strong odor of air freshener. We then went into the room and the odor was SO PUNGENT and foul. It was a cross of cigarette smoke (we were in a non smoking room, by the way) and perfumed air freshner. My son immediately started sneezing and the odor gave me a headache/nausea. We were in town for a tournament, one of many in the area apparently, and all other hotels in the area were booked. We did not stay at the Best Western in Clifton Park, we ended up in Albany at the Crowne Plaza which was wonderful.

No gym, no breakfast as listed.

Bathroom had a broken toilet seat and the room smelled terrible. The door to the room had a broken latch. The overall upkeep of the hotel was poor.

No elevator to second floor.

Looked in the lobby and left.

Dirty and noisy room, poor customer service

For the money not a bad stay. This has to be my first stay in a hotel over the last 10 years where there wasn't a USB port ANYWHERE in the room to plug in a cable for charging a phone or other devices. Cone on, spend a couple thousand bucks installing at least one table lamp that has the port!!!

This was very affordable accommodations and you get what you pay for. It is old and run down. I wouldn't call it nice, but it was what I'd expect for the price.

Its gross. Ran out of coffee. Drug users on the stairs outside.

Toilet didn’t work properly and when it clogged I was handed a plunger to clear it myself. The pool was so cold it was unusable. The hot tub didn’t work and the manager claimed it was a kiddie pool. Even if repurposed for kiddie pool it is not a safe one due to extreme cold, slipperiness and depth. Coffee served for breakfast in the breakfast room was at least 212° as it was still boiling in my cup for at least 5 minutes after being served.

The property and room was clean. However the pool is freezing cold and room AC is weak

Great location if you are going to SPAC to see a show.

The hotel needs refurbishing, breakfast is terrible
