Comfort Suites Clovis - Fresno

Do not book here. My mom and I had to book here last minute and it was a mistake. We spent maybe 2 hours there and had to leave because it didn’t feel clean enough in our hotel room to sleep or put our stuff. The room was a suite. Nice you would think. Wrong! The couch and ottoman were filthy. There were dark stains all over it and the ottoman was very much worn. I didn’t feel comfortable putting my suitcase even on it. We sat by the pool which was nice and booked another hotel as we were not going to be able to sleep there. We are not luxury people by any means but we want the environment we sleep, eat, and relax in to be clean. Very disappointed. The courtyard Marriott was wonderful though and we enjoyed our last day of vacation there! Highly recommend that place for only about 100$ more. Well worth the price!

I was traveling with my family and had been on the road for 6 hours when we got there and tried to check in, the lady at the front desk said she had cancelled our reservation. No warning or phone call. I booked through Expedia and payment was made but hotel decided to still cancel my reservation. She let us know that the suite we booked had been booked already. I asked for any other room accommodation as my toddler and family needed to stretch and what we thought we had finally arrived to our destination. She informed us there was NO other room available. We were traveling for an event, which we were late to as we had to drive around an unknown city trying to find something for that night. We book ahead of time to avoid things like this. Previously we stayed at a Comfort Inn in another city and had a great experience that’s why we booked but NEVER AGAIN.

Very close to downtown Clovis! Walkable! Clean, easy access, kids even yes the small outdoor pool. Breakfast was very good!

The room telephone did not work. I wanted a wake up called and had to call the front desk on my phone for the request, asking they call my cell number at the time needed. They assured me they would, but it did not happen.

It was a great stay I would go back

I checked in on sunday 6/21/26 and the girl at the front desk was very friendly and sweet . and had a lot of information and recommendations for places to go and see , very good staff!

We stayed 4 nights; and will return for our next trip west. Thanks!

This is definitely a 3 star hotel, I would not stay here again. Stains on foldable sofa bed and uncomfortable.

Quiet, clean, and straight forward place to stay. Walking distance from cool places to eat.

Great breakfast and lovely staff. Night staff is friendly and very helpful if you have any questions or concerns. Overall, great hotel.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. They always had a smile and ready to help. For basic hotel breakfast it was tasty and lots of options. Bed was comfy too!

The first room THEY put me in the cable tv wasn't working so I asked for another room and accommodated me in a professional manner. I was very grateful.

Generally, things were just okay. We were in town for the California State Track and Field Championships. I was disappointed to discover that while there was a thermostat in the room it was not activated. The explanation was a bit confusing. Obviously we could not regulate the room temperature. Also, my coaching buddy was two doors down from us on the third floor and the room key would not work to his room. It turned into a real nightmare for him as ultimately a locksmith had to be called and a member of the staff had to deliver his belonging to him later. Not to mention they could not accommodate him with another room. Finally, I thought the room we were in (311) was a bit outdated; particularly the bathroom.
