I believe this might be the second worst motel experience I’ve had in all my 67 years. Sketchy is a kind term. I didn’t choose this hotel as we were traveling with other family and felt obligated to stay in the same hotel. The room and its “furnishings” were of third rate quality. I’d say it gives a mid-seventies vibe. It is possible that may have been the last time it was renovated. It feels old. The owners clearly are trying to squeeze profit with little investment in what could be a vibrant location. As an example, the bathroom was barely usable with a small counter, broken floor tile and water-stained baseboards. The lights over the sink were bright white (daylight color temperature) so everything appears harsh. The tub/shower itself may have been recently updated. The bathroom window was painted shut. Next to the door there was a small table with one chair in front of the AC unit. The curtains were so long that they blocked the airflow from the AC. So I guess you choose privacy over comfort. A cheep chest of drawers was shoved into a makeshift open, wall-mounted closet such that it was impossible to open the drawers if you wanted to use them. Could barely squeeze by the bed on one end. The wall-mounted flat panel tv was old and small 32” with wires hanging down the wall - no credenza or dresser. A second small table had a tiny fridge under it with a microwave on top. I’ve never seen a room so poorly equipped and thoughtlessly organized. I will say that the bed was OK.

It was an interesting experience...our room was hidden, would of never found it without the help of the desk clerk who checked us in at 10:30pm before leaving..never saw another desk clerk again office was locked the entire time, but a call for service number was on the front lobby door...room was cleaned daily.

Claims they offer breakfast- it’s only bread and jelly. Even the ice is not free - $4 per cooler

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms

Breakfast was poor. There was no heater for the pool and the water was cold.

The bathroom and the main room could use a little updating. Laundry room was very clean too. People were courteous.

This motel has real potential...the 1950's vibe when you drive up is cool. The obvious deferred maintenance makes it very uncomfortable and rather creepy though: the pool, aside from the hours being just silly (10am-8:30pm) was very dirty, and the pool cover was absent though the 10-15 ft. rod it rolls up on was present but broken in two and just lying there; the wood trim (windows, doorways) was splintered and peeling paint; the flooring at the room entry was badly warped and sticking up, showing subfloor, a large hole behind the door was covered with thin plywood that was falling off....everything was just shabby. The desk clerk was robotic--no warmth, no professional demeanor, breakfast (included in the price) was a joke--no hot food, just dry cereal, coffee, juice. The cost of $200 for the night was robbery. If I could have canceled and moved to another place, I would have, but I can't eat $200. I'm no "Karen"--I treat everyone with kindness and respect, including the staff at this hotel, so I was not confrontational in the least. It's not their fault, after all. But seriously, this isn't a good place to stay.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do/see in Cody. The bathroom needs a little upgrade.

The beds were not comfortable. Not enough blankets.

Stayed here spur of moment. Clean property. Breakfast was very basic. Front desk guy was very nice. Comfy bed. Good value for the money since we travel "on the cheap."
