Booked through Expedia paid them but the hotel double charged me couldn’t get a hold of a manager don’t book here ever!!!!!

Parents weekend at UMD and this was literally the only place available. We paid nearly $300 for 2 nights at this motel, and this was a relative bargain. The place is a motel and not really what we would normally choose to stay in. Room was musty but with AC on it was okay, bed was uncomfortable but clean. Bathrooms were clean, but everyday there was a weird vibration in our room that made the entire room shake. Usually happened in the morning. No idea what it was. Wouldn't choose to stay here again unless nothing else is available around UMD.

Good location My room was filthy, outdated carpet and ripped. The door got stocked and the pass key disintegrated worked. When I ask the lady in the reception to help she insisted in giving me another key but didn’t help me. The fifth time , a gentleman that apparently works in maintenance appear and open the door. The next day some lady from room keeping open my door even when I send the information that I was leaving at 11. Am. She open without knocking 10:44am.

Housekeeping didn’t clean the room after the first night. They came by while I was still getting ready. I told them when I left that they could clean and when I came back the bed was not made. I was only there for two nites so I just slept in the other bed. No issue and I had a nice stay.

The staff! The „breakfast included“ is a joke. Coffee, industrial powder juices, plastic wrapped bagles and monodose Philadelphia… wish I could say something else.

The air conditioning was working well.

Everything was convenient and comfortable. It was perhaps a non-smoking room but there was still smoke residue in the room from some time ago.

The room provided to us was completely unlivable: damp, zero ventilation, and a carpet that smelled absolutely disgusting. When I demanded a change, the reception desk moved us to a second room that was in the exact same filthy condition.Realizing the property was a health hazard, I asked to cancel. The hotel staff told me to contact Booking.com. The customer support agent called the hotel reception right then and there, and verbally confirmed that a full refund would be issued within 7 working days. Based on that promise from Booking.com, I had to scramble and pay out-of-pocket for a last-minute room at a nearby Holiday Inn just so my wife, my son, and I had a clean place to sleep.It has now been 15 days, and both the hotel and Booking.com are holding my money hostage.Booking.com has shown zero willingness to return my money or protect me as a consumer. I have wasted my time making four separate calls to their customer support over the last two weeks, and every single time, they give me the runaround. They claim they are completely helpless because the hotel manager hasn't sent a digital confirmation—proving that Booking.com's "customer protection" is a total myth. They will happily take your money instantly, but when a hotel gives you a biohazard room and lies about a refund, Booking.com will completely abandon you.Do not trust this hotel, and absolutely do not use Booking.com. They are the worst travel site on the internet.

Location, shower had good water pressure. Beds were uncomfortable, toaster didn’t work, orange juice was watered down, vending machine did not work but took money. Hotel staff stated they were unable to refund. Woken up, on first night, by drunk people at 2am banging on room door because they were lost.
