Cambria Hotel College Park

With the ADR we paid, we would have appreciated the cleaning to be done between Night 1 and night 2. (And not Upon request) We own 3 hotels, two in Miami beach (a Kimpton + a Marriott Autograph) and another one in Lisbon, among the most exclusive in town (Palacio Ludovice) we never proposed our guests to ask for a cleaning….

The Hotel is fine. My only complaint is that we were without power for hours and there was no compensation.

Lovely note. Very clean and comfortable rooms. There is no restaurant on site though. No breakfast or dinner for a late arrival. It’s more than the BW next door, not that different and they provide a breakfast and free parking!

overall good experience, clean room, nice staff. The only thing I would highlight was the miscommunication related to the parking lot they use. It was indicated to me that it was 12 a day (in/out daily rate) and the front desk took my license plate number upon checking in. the 3rd party of parking lot happens to be a multi location parking lot go that started charging my card multiple times as I was going in and out of lot because I had a card on file from several years prior. There was no upfront caveat or warning from the front desk and on the back end they couldn't do anything w/ vendor to help back out charges. They DID NOT charge me the 12/day given the situation but I paid a significant amount more than than given the back and forth unknowingly. Not all on them but some signage or warning may be helpful in the future.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and staff were considering the last minute booking.

The first time I stayed there was no hot water. The next month when I stayed I awoke to no power.

No freezer in refrig. No restaurant or coffee shop

Really enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

When I am in town and need a place to stay, I will ALWAYS choose Cambria.

The property previously had a restaurant on-site however it closed permanently on Jul 1st. That information was not on the site, so they gave you a list of local restaurants nearby. This was great but inconvenient if I didn't want to leave the property especially in the morning. Cambria is the high end of Choice hotels, so they should have already had a plan to serve breakfast before the restaurant closed like their other properties especially if travelers are spending higher prices to stay

The room had a little odor but was nice overall. The only complaint is the room is extremely dim and has poor lighting which made it difficult to do my makeup.

Clean room, bed was very comfortable, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk clerk had an AirPod in her ear while she checked me into the hotel. She did not offer a friendly smile. As I was walking away from the desk, she resumed the conversation that she was having on the phone. Very unprofessional.
