La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham College Station South

So, since we knew this was not a 5 star hotel, it was ok with a “reasonable” price In today’s market.

Jill and her staff were helpful, courteous. I had major surgery had to say in the hospital Jill was a big help to my daughter.

The sta wasn’t so good,the staff walked in our room unannounced.

Has an odor in the hotel. Tub had light hot water with hair on the tub corners. Hair on the floor and the mat when placed down. Sheets are not high tread count with fuzz balls on sheets. No coffee when arrived down for breakfast about 7am.

Nice room, good breakfast

The room is good but there were only two cups .

Keys didn't work half the time and had to rekey multiple times. Pool was open until 10 but locked at 9 and person on duty didn't have access. Told elevator didn't work when checking in and then found out the next day that it was just one that wasn't working so we could have actually used them. Breakfast items closed early. Waffles shut down 30 minutes before breakfast over. Dirty floors all over and not cleaned 18 hours later. Woke up one morning with a swollen face and all research states probably dust mites. Bedding was so pilled it was scratchy and had to wear pants to bed. Tried to being up issues twice and wasn't even acknowledged either time. Just complete silence. No apologies except for my face. Was told a manager would call and they didn't.

Friendly staff , the building and roooms bad a bad smell as well as the lobby and the bathroom wasn’t up to par with erosion on the walls and base boards and walls having stains and falling apart .

Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant stay. The bedding looked old, the bathroom and shower had noticeable cracks and signs of wear, and the overall condition of the room felt outdated and poorly maintained. The experience did not match my expectations, and I was disappointed with the quality of the accommodations. I would not recommend this property based on my experience.

Breakfast was great for the price point, room was clean, only gripe were a crusty white stain on the bedside table (in all honestly, believe it was ice cream not the alternative lol) and the a/c would not go below 68 degrees. Only interacted with two staff members at check in and check out, and they were both sweet!

Parking is free.

Not a fan of my room not being cleaned every day. I shouldn’t have to put towels in the hall (which is unsightly and unsanitary) for pick up and get my own towels from the front desk.

Great front desk staff! Very helpful and friendly.

The room smells like everything thing was wet

I am not a person who writes reviews whether positive or negative, but this was totally unacceptable not to mention driving in the dark for 2.5 hours when I should have been sleeping

Didn't have breakfast. Parking was great

Bathroom had water damage to walls from the shower. Shower stream was extremely forceful and unable to adjust.

The facilities and amenities were above average to excellent. We were pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the friendly staff.
