La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham College Station South

The facilities and amenities were above average to excellent. We were pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the friendly staff.

Took a cold shower both days that we were there because we had no hot water. Room was not cleaned for us during our visit. We were told it would not be cleaned while we were there and if we needed clean towels we would be responsible for going to the front desk and asking for more. Will not be staying there again

The staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast selection excellent! Will return.

The rooms were not ready at the time of the arrival and the a/c was leaking water in to the room.

Breakfast was a positive - bacon & eggs. Protein! I like the free parking. Restaurants were in walking distance.

Great place

Everything was great and staff was very helpful!

The rooms were okay. The A/C did not keep the room cold. It was not hot either. Just not comfortable. The thermostat for the A/C was covered in something sticky. We were there 3 days. The 2nd evening when we returned room service did not visit the room so we had to go ask for clean towels and to have the trash dumped. But outside of that it was okay.

This hotel is great. We have stayed here multiple times. Great staff and clean spaces. Breakfast is great too!

Nice staff. Good breakfast. Room was clean. The stainless cover over the trench drain in the shower did its job, but it was noisy when water hit it. Bath towels were smaller than most hotels. Overall, it was a nice hotel and no complaints.

I had a water leak in the foyer and bathroom the first night. There were lots of drywall damage in hallways and in my room that had not been repaired.

Excellent place.

Breakfast was below mediocre. Price was excessive, inflated by a Fifa event in College Station, but so was every other option. We simply picked the poorest option.

Clean & comfortable room, good breakfast comfortable bed. Prefer walk-in shower vs tub shower. Tub showers are too dangerous for older people.

I’ve stayed at this location before, but the place is starting to show wear and tear. 3rd floor had a weird smell all weekend. Saturday night the lobby area smelled like sewage. Good location and friendly staff, but needs some work.

Pleasure

Walked in and the hotel smelled like sewer on the 2nd day. Found out at check in that the hot tub was broke and we booked the hotel because it had a hot tub. There was mildew in the tub/shower. The bathroom door wouldn’t close or lock. When we arrived and walked down the ab to our room, it smelled like smoke and mildew mixed, our room was extremely hot and muggy since no ac was on and we had to wait for it to cool off before going to sleep, went down to get breakfast at 8:45 (they closed at 9) and the lady attending the breakfast wouldn’t serve us and there was lots of food left. It was horrible!

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice and hot. We will stay there again.

I did not like that my room was not cleaned every day.
