Motel 6 West Columbia, SC - Airport

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable The place had a lot of people that looked and acted like drug addicts. Marijana smell was everywhere, and we didn't feel safe.

It was nasty and didn’t have a hairdryer and would not get me a hairdryer! Man on duty was very rude and not at all accommodating I didn’t feel safe at this property being a woman and being alone

Toilet did not flush properly, lights & electrical outlets by bed didn’t work. Tv remote did not work.

Was fine for a 2 night stay

Elevator kinda nasty. Shower wasnt very inviting. The toilet was so loud and strong it would suck a small animal down it. People were living at the motel for what seemed like quite a while.

Front desk staff was helpful and responsive. Linen & towels were stained. Room service was not provided. There is a laundry room with snack and drink machines, but we did not utilize. Coins are needed. There is no ventilation fan for bathroom and the vent inside was damaged. AC is wall mounted but worked well. There is water leakage from the AC units flowing along the walkway outside some of the rooms. The pool is permently closed. Area was mostly quiet and near the interstate. Although we did not visit the National Park, it is approximately a 15 minute drive. Shopping stores are a 10 minute or less drive. Location is also less than 15 minutes from the University of South Carolina.

The room itself was clean except for the toilet, broken bathroom door. Very sketchy area.

The staff was very respectful. There was plenty of parking and the room was was just like the picture very inviting at the right temperature.

I was in room #126 and as soon as I walked in I was hit with a strong mildew smell. It’s smelled old. Air freshener didn’t work. There also was roaches in the bathroom. I told the staff and they only offered an apology, nothing more. Never will stay here again

Looking at it it seems nice but when we enter we were disappointed but everything works just need cleaning

Nice, comfy beds. Great location and parking.

The room itself was great but the rest of the property could use some TLC. The staff was superb and I’d stay there again.

This felt like an affordable place to sleep. I wouldn’t go here for a vacation but if you need a basic place to sleep this could work. Nothing fancy but I got a good nights rest and my car was not broken into. I call it a win.
