Heather checks me in. I’m assigned a single room, one bed, with a kitchenette. First thing, I heat up the oatmeal I purchased from the kiosk downstairs and reach for a spoon in the drawer - the spoon is filthy with grit and stains stuck to it. (Strike - 1) I also notice the room had a weird musty smell. (Strike - 2) Then I walk in the shower and notice that the shower grate is lifted up and there are mold stains all around the corners of the shower and the l base boards were filthy. (Strike - 3) I go downstairs, talk to Heather; she’s so nice and accommodating she offers to switch my room. Switched rooms and notice the shower was in better condition; however, the lounge chair was stained. There looked like a red blood stain on the curtain, and the base boards in the shower had yellow stains (leave it to your imagination what it looked like). If this posting lets me add pictures I definitely will. So I’m over it, I contact customer service through the Candlewood Suites website to contact management (because managers don’t work at night). They were super helpful, they get my info and contact the desk to have the manager contact me at 8am the next day. To say the least, management did not make an attempt to call me the next day. I went to the desk at 8:30am, and naturally, management was not on site.

Location is convenient to base and graduation fields, as well as some shopping and minimal food choices. Cons: was very disappointed to arrive after a 9 hour drive to a dirty room. Staff was prompt and friendly when brought to their attention, but it did make me wear shoes the entire time, even in the shower, and keep all my belongings on the hard surfaces.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was a good value. In a decent area with restaurants and near many of the locations I was in town for. May be my go to when I'm in Columbus for softball tourneys.

I called the day before the visit about a late check-in and was told there was someone at the desk 24-7. When we arrived we waited for 30 minutes to be helped. No one was there to check us in or answer the phone for help.

Clean room, kitchen stocked, full size refrigerator and microwave. Very comfortable beds. The only problem I encountered not a good selection of tv channels.

We had a room with queen beds and one of them was made up and the sheets were not changed from the previous person that stayed there. Very upsetting.

The bathroom wasn’t clean when I got there, there was literally hair in the shower, and the hand soap was empty and wasn’t replaced during my stay. The staff were really kind, but the cleanliness issue kinda fudged the experience. Also, the stove didn’t work and the TV guide wasn’t working. No major issues other than the nasty ass shower, but yea.
