Excelent stay great staff

What makes this experience even more disappointing is what I discovered after my stay. After checking out, I looked through reviews from two and three years ago and found multiple guests describing many of the same problems, including mold and cleanliness issues. It was frustrating to see that these concerns had apparently been reported years earlier, yet I encountered similar conditions during my visit. Based on what I experienced and what those earlier reviews described, it left me with the impression that these longstanding issues have not been adequately addressed. I have extensive photographs documenting the mold, buckled flooring, filthy soap packaging, broken fixtures, damaged flooring, the green and cloudy pool, torn pool furniture, and many of the other issues described above. While not every issue is pictured, everything in this review is based on what I personally observed during my stay. I would never stay here again, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Do yourself a favor—book somewhere else. This property should not be renting rooms in its current condition, let alone charging premium prices.

We stayed here for two night for my son graduation. I booked through Expedia on July 19 and paid a total of 217.97. Once I arrived at the hotel they asked for my card again and charged me another 217.97. Now I’m trying to contact the property to get reimbursed with no luck.

Ice machine was broken, pool was green. They were "waiting on the pool guy". The door to the room didn't latch automatically, really had to make did you closed it securely. AC worked the first day, then was sporadic.

After all everything was good, except that I have to extend my check out and they don't do that anymore, so I had to pay for and extra day instead of 4 more hours 🙁. Additional to that, no complaints from us.

I checked into MainStay Suites Columbus Fort Moore (GAC09) on July 21 for a five-night stay while my daughter competed in an event nearby. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Our room had an unpleasant odor, the air conditioner was off, making the room extremely hot, and the refrigerator was not clean upon arrival. The biggest issue was that our room was never cleaned during our entire stay. On Wednesday, I asked the front desk about housekeeping and was told the hotel required a three-day notice. I was assured our room would be added to the schedule. By Friday, it still had not been cleaned. When I asked again, I was given a different explanation and told it would be cleaned on Saturday. It never was. The lack of housekeeping, inconsistent information from staff, poor communication, and lack of customer service and follow-through made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I hope this matter is addressed.

The staffs need to be more Greeters. The room was not cleaned as should be , the bathroom tub was not properly clean , had black marks , , the stove top inserts were very dirty , burnt caked up , looks like it was used and left like this way for a long time ( facility should invest in new stove inserts),, no one can cook on such a dirty stove, it becomes a Fire hazard , looks like there is no cleaning team supervision, also, it was water stain evidence that there was a leak in the room above the first floor, just look like it needed better maintenance . The Ice Machine was discontinued, and was told to ask front desk to retrieve ice from elsewhere, and sometimes the front desk personnel was away from the desk for a long period of time . Advisable These deficiencies should be corrected so others can enjoy a much better stay. Thank you .

Left our trash can outside the door because they didnt leave trash bags like we had asked, they took the trash can, we asked repeatedly for it back never was brought back. Luckily we had walmart bags to use. Most the pool chairs are broken and unusable.

Good hotel to stay for a couple of days. Outdated and the pool furniture was mostly broken so you couldn’t use it. Found a few cockroaches. I paid through Expedia and charged me at the hotel as well. Waiting more my refund

I booked this location because of the convenience of me visiting My Son for boot camp. Upon arriving I was greeted by Cody who was very friendly and helpful. I checked into my room and as soon as I unlocked the door it smelled like dirty mop water and mildew. I told front desk about and without issue he assigned me a new room. Room smelled good so I accepted it. Upon doing further inspection once I came back from eating. The sheets were filthy, bathroom nasty, and no one swept. I had to go down to front desk that same night and get new sheets to make up my bed. There were hairs on them that weren’t mine due to be having locs, stains on the sheets, hair on the bathroom walls, what looked like dried cheese doodle shavings on the wall and when I bent down to pick up something I dropped under the bathroom sink… there was a lipstick. Who knows how long that had been there. I immediately checked out the following morning and was told that they had staff quitting. I will be submitting video that I took to corporate. The only good thing was I was refunded my full amount. DO BETTER!

Room was nice, but they don’t supply you with body soap just shampoo.

The staff was very helpful. The room was clean, nice air conditioner. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The pool was cloudy and needed to be cleaned and chemicals. The lounge pool chairs were all broken. The whole pool area needs to be updated and cleaned.

I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. It could have just been my experience but it wasn’t a very good one. The issue started when it was evident the refrigerator was t cleaned out then we discovered the towels in our bathroom weren’t clean. Just sad.

No signal on tv, phone not working

Room was not cleaned and moldy and the walls and furniture were worn and scratched and dented up.

The place was nice but the power kept going out due to power shortage
