MainStay Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

Good hotel to stay for a couple of days. Outdated and the pool furniture was mostly broken so you couldn’t use it. Found a few cockroaches. I paid through Expedia and charged me at the hotel as well. Waiting more my refund

I booked this location because of the convenience of me visiting My Son for boot camp. Upon arriving I was greeted by Cody who was very friendly and helpful. I checked into my room and as soon as I unlocked the door it smelled like dirty mop water and mildew. I told front desk about and without issue he assigned me a new room. Room smelled good so I accepted it. Upon doing further inspection once I came back from eating. The sheets were filthy, bathroom nasty, and no one swept. I had to go down to front desk that same night and get new sheets to make up my bed. There were hairs on them that weren’t mine due to be having locs, stains on the sheets, hair on the bathroom walls, what looked like dried cheese doodle shavings on the wall and when I bent down to pick up something I dropped under the bathroom sink… there was a lipstick. Who knows how long that had been there. I immediately checked out the following morning and was told that they had staff quitting. I will be submitting video that I took to corporate. The only good thing was I was refunded my full amount. DO BETTER!

Room was nice, but they don’t supply you with body soap just shampoo.

The staff was very helpful. The room was clean, nice air conditioner. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The pool was cloudy and needed to be cleaned and chemicals. The lounge pool chairs were all broken. The whole pool area needs to be updated and cleaned.

I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. It could have just been my experience but it wasn’t a very good one. The issue started when it was evident the refrigerator was t cleaned out then we discovered the towels in our bathroom weren’t clean. Just sad.

No signal on tv, phone not working

Room was not cleaned and moldy and the walls and furniture were worn and scratched and dented up.

The place was nice but the power kept going out due to power shortage

Nice place. Convenient to Fort Benning and the National Infantry Museum.

It was close to the base It has thin walls. You can hear everybody walking up and the halls. The first room I got the air conditioner didn’t work but they did give me a room with a room with a great air conditioner but the floor was dirty

Easy to get too , size of room, clean Bathroom wasn’t great . Service didn’t clean room and replenish towels even when I asked . That was disappointing

I was NOT happy about the hotel and I didn't stay at the hotel due to bad service. I request full refund

Close to the base Dirty. Roaches in the rooms and hallways. Stepped on dead roaches in the hallway. Staff was rude and short. Tv was horrible quality (even after adjusting color the screen was pink). Cops were there at one point.

The staff on site was nice. The front counter girl told us if we checked out early the day before we could get a refund for the last night. She said it would take 3-5 days. I waited a week and no refund came through so I called the location. I spoke with Dipa who told me no refund would be issued. I asked for the manager name and she told me Dave. I called back today and spoke with Coty. I asked for Dave - he told me wrong number and hung up. I called back again and asked for the managers name and he told me Dev but said he was not there and there was no way to reach him other than to call back. Eventually he did tell me to call the Choice line which I did and filed a complaint The staff on site was nice.
