Room was clean, property was clean.
-
Breakfast was great! Had to come down 3 flights to use microwave, but bar and restaurant were very convenient. Hotel was close to the Civic Center where we were attending.
-
The room was spotless, with fresh linens and modern furnishings. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, offering personalized recommendations and prompt assistance. Breakfast was delicious, featuring a variety of freshly baked pastries, gourmet coffee, and juices.
-
Restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday's, so we were not able to eat there, would have liked to. Will stay here again 100% when back in Columbus, Georgia.

Loved the room. It was very modern. Decor is unique. Hotel was quiet. I would definitely stay again. Absolutely loved my stay and I’m bougie.
-
I visited the property for a week on business. My stay was quiet. My room was fairly warn. Overall the staff was great and everyone seemed to work hard keeping the property clean.
-
Third time we’ve stayed there and it was absolutely perfect as usual. We love our trips to Columbus and we’ll definitely stay there again.

To their credit, they offered to refund the money I had prepaid through Hotels.com, and wrote me a letter confirming that they would do so. They also connected me with another hotel that still had rooms available at a higher price and without the king bed for which I had paid. Several other guests also had the same problem while I was standing there. I would not reserve a room at this hotel again. While the building looked appealing, the fact that they lacked reliable cleaning services and had not been able to make any rooms available in the late afternoon was and is not acceptable.

This is a beautiful property inside and out.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. All staff members were so incredibly sweet and friendly. The breakfast was also delicious!
-
Great room and hotel. 5 stars if we had our rooms ready, but when we showed up at check in time, they said rooms were not ready, could not give us another room, and could not even give us a ball park time.
-
We arrived an hour after check in and were told that there was a "housekeeping crisis" and our room was not ready. The first person we spoke with was very curt and unapologetic. She could not offer us a timeline of when our room would be ready, but gave the name of neighboring hotel to check with. The second woman to come to the front desk obviously felt terrible about the situation and offered to give us a free upgrade in the event we booked a room there in the future.

My family and I just had a wonderful overall experience from the front desk to the bar everyone was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. Exceeded my expectations. Look forward to staying again
-
Very nice, pet friendly property. The staff was extremely pleasant, the bed was comfy and everything was very clean and well maintained.
-
Very cool old building with a lot of history.
-
The rooms were clean, thoughtfully decorated and the staff was delightful. There is a wonderfully shaded river walk right outside their front door, wide enough for walkers, joggers and bikers to share. A must stay in Columbus.
-
City Mills is a wonderful destination hotel! The riverwalk is great, shaded in many spots and active. Love the rooms and b’fast!!
-
This place is legit. Right on the river. Great staff. Great breakfast.
-
Our room was a king bed and there was a desk chair and a desk at the foot of the bed but that was the only place to sit. And when someone's sitting in that chair you can't walk around the bed. There's a very large entry vestibule into the room that seem to be totally wasted space. The end room wall mounted air conditioning unit was up high above the bed blows directly on you all night. I like to be cold when I sleep so it was fine for me but not so fine for my wife. Nice free coffee and espresso service in the morning. Overall very well maintained and clean and off the beaten path from downtown Columbus. Given the crampiness of the room I'm honestly not sure I would stay here again but you should at least give it a try. Free parking too.

WE were in 102 and there was a lot of stomping during the night from upstairs above our room, It was the guests above our room. It didn't sound like they were doing anything on purpose but we could hear all their walking during the night. Maybe insulate better between floors
