Comfort Inn North/Polaris

Made me submit a credit card for incidentals. Other than that, had hot water at roughly the same temperature as the surface of the sun.

Was good place to stay for short/long stay.

Tub drain clogged …stopped draining during my shower

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was great

The desk clerk made sure we had a quiet room away from the concert guests staying at the hotel!

The room was clean. We thought hotel smelled like smoke ( as a non smoker)we can smell it really bad . The pool was the best thing . It was soo nice and warm and we had it like two nights we stayed by ourselves . The breakfast was ok I guess. Was not many hot items to choose from . One night there was sausage and eggs next day was bacon and eggs. So need more options for hot meals. Not a lot to choose for drinking either . Very slow elevators so we took the steps the whole stay . The front desk staff were not welcoming at all and pretty rude . I prolly won’t be staying here again and we come to area quite often bc it’s a great area and we went to zoo . Staff needs to be more informative and act like they even like their job . There was never any towels in the pool area so both nights had to ask for them . If you ask questions it was like asking too much. The lady at breakfast was nice though. She told me where my daughter and I could get water during breakfast time. I would not recommend staying here.. best thing was the warm pool !

There was mold growing on the ceiling in the bedroom and the bathroom. Very moist and smelly.

Close to all attractions. Heard alot of noise above us first night. 2nd night better.

I re booked for 2 nights, sat. And Sunday, so somebody owes me for Friday ! Hotel couldn't refund me said I had to go to you for refund.

Smell

If you value your safety, vehicle, or belongings, do not stay at the Comfort Inn North/Polaris. On Saturday morning, September 6th (between 2 AM and 7 AM), a coordinated break-in spree hit this guest parking lot. Multiple guest vehicles were systematically targeted. My windows were smashed, window tint destroyed, and personal gear stolen while I was asleep inside. Columbus Police responded and documented the multi-vehicle break-ins. This was an invited crime caused by glaring property negligence: • Inoperable Lighting: The majority of the exterior parking lot lights are completely burned out. Large sections of the guest lot are in pitch-black darkness, giving criminals complete concealment to work uninterrupted. • Virtually No Cameras: Surveillance is practically nonexistent, leaving guest parking in massive blind spots. • Zero Security: Despite operating in an area with known vehicle thefts, there are no security guards, gates, or overnight patrols. • Zero Accountability: Management neglects basic safety maintenance and immediately hides behind "park at your own risk." Criminals had the darkness and uninterrupted time to hit vehicle after vehicle across this property without a single staff member noticing. Do not risk your vehicle or belongings here. Book elsewhere along Polaris Parkway at a hotel that actually keeps its lights on and protects paying guests.

I liked the homey feel and the breakfast was excellent! The staff was friendly and it was quiet for the most part. However the room itself wasn’t too great. The A/C wasn’t working once I got there and while maintenance did come to fix it, it went down again by day of checkout. There was also an issue with the fridge. It was not keeping cold at all. And the freezer seemed to be leaking or something cause there was water in it and it was an odd smell coming from it. The room also could’ve been a tad cleaner. Other than that though I would stay again and would recommend!

12 cars were broken into and the windows shattered. When we went out to our car and found the shattered drivers window. The staff remarked that it happens all of the time and that it was basically ok. They told us that it’s Columbus that it happened all the time that the cops would do nothing about it. They’d be arrested and let go. They did offer to vacuum out our car though, and give us a garbage bag to cover the window.

Scare them off..Staff should get Kudos for their actions ..Definitely will stay again...

Approximately 10 to 12 car windows broken during the night by thieves. The hotel is way off the road and back in a corner. The parking lot is not well lit. We were told to take our valuables in to the room and leave our vehicle unlocked so we didn’t wake up to a broken window.
