the staff wasn`t polite at all, the whole place sucked

Felt like jail

Shower leaked air conditioner leaked carpet was wet bathroom sink didn't drain pool closed was the worst place I have ever stayed

Crack heads living in and around the hotel, in abundance. There is no security, or cameras, nor does it look like the hotel is doing anything to resolve the issue, I didnt even stay there I ended up booking another hotel. Within 5 minutes of me being parked out front one drug addict came up to me asking for drugs

The Name of the hotel was not on the exterior - only the old Norwood/Red Roof sign. Informed at check in there was no continental breakfast as the hotel was under renovation. The desk clerk had to bring me a fridge and a microwave and just after he left water started pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom. Not dripping - pouring (I have video). the toilet seat was unhinged. I was too tired to change rooms but I told the clerk I would do so the next evening when I returned. No towels so I had to get them from the desk. Room smelled bad. Almost every night there were other people in the hallway or outside yammering on without any respect for the other residents trying to sleep. The last night there was a domestic argument going on until I heard what sounded like the male slamming the female around. No sense in calling the front desk - no phone in the room. I called 911 and the police came and everything went quiet. Only one bellman's cart and when that was got I got a cart made with splintered plywood. I am never going back here and the fact that it was cheap is no excuse for how bad it was managed and maintained. I only took the room because it was a last minute arrangement.

Location was actually good. The hotel was undergoing renovation. My room was very dark - there were only two light bulbs. The TV remote did not work. The room had a foul smell. I asked the Front Desk for assistance with the TV and the smell. Although he said he asked someone to come to my room, no one ever did.

The staff was nice The conditions of the rooms. I was put in a room with no tv. So they put me in the room next door to it, and the lady was still cleaning it. So I had to wait another 10 min to be able to get in that room. Which she still wasn't done, so we waited in the room until she was. I had no trash can, not enough towels, I had double beds and only one had a blanket, there was food still left in the mini fridge from the guest before. It wasn't the housekeeper fault, It was kinda thrown on her. And she was very nice as well. I had to keep getting my key reprogram to my room. Wasn't the best experience. But great staff that was working.

Waited 20 minutes for desk help. After 3-4 phone calls Howard Johnson obviously recently purchased from previous hotel owners in process of renovations. HORRIBLE housekeeping! Woke following morning to find an earwig crawling up the sheets of my wife!!!!! Thank GOD she’s blind! She’d have leaped through the roof if she knew that bug was there!

Property looks like an abandoned building. In midst of reno and should be closed due to depth of reno. Took 3 separate rooms to get one with working a/c. The building is a glorified flop house and Howard Johnson Inc should be ashamed that this Property bares the name. None of the amenities were available. Filthy both inside and out. Hallway carpet fire hazards. If I didn't have any choice I would have found another property. Unfortunately one night didn't kill me. Pictures available

Lobby floor with stains, elevator smelled as garbage

Convenient to where I needed to be and a White Castle within walking distance. No bulbs in the lamps, two bath mats and a hand towel were the only provided towels, broken/protruding pieces in shower which was so gross with an old wash cloth jammed in the overflow holes where missing cap should be, brown stain of something (not even gonna guess) on a pillow case in a not so clean looking bed, broken trim and weird plastered areas NOT TO MENTION the loose open used carpet knife blade (which are double sided and very sharp) sitting on the window sill. I might’ve contacted the desk but the room had no phone and the guy at the desk took 15+ minutes to come out and check me and the four people behind me in.

There was mold in the shower, the bathroom seemed dirty, there was loud construction noises at 10am so I couldn’t sleep in, and it all together wasn’t very clean

Just plain terrible should be shut down. Not worth the money we spent. Never again.

Property was under construction and the room didn't even have a microwave or fridge, no water in the shower, and the hallways smelled of sewage. But the room was clean. It just was not a pleasant stay.

No breakfast despite advertising. Run down property, dirty. Some rooms window looks out to a exterior wall literally 10 ft away. Plumbing didn't work well, toilet clogged easily. Definitely skip this one. Musty smell. They should close this one until properly remodeled.

I hated this hotel, we got put in two different rooms that were not equipped to be slept in. The second room bathroom was flooded so severely that the hotel made us check out...and we had no where go and I am still waiting for my reimbursement...

Would have gotten better scores if I knew they were under renovations, had brought breakfast with me as well as a towel

Was assigned to TWO DIRTY ROOMS

I didn't like the nasty, burned and dirty blankets and sheets. I didn't like the half rigged plumbing and falling apart bathroom. I didn't like the crack pipe in the entertainment stand. I didn't like the incense sticks all over the place. I didn't like the smell. I didn't like the scary neighborhood.
