La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus West - Hilliard

I’ll start by saying the location of the hotel was great. Every person I came in contact with especially at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean(the room did smell like cigarette smoke and I’m a smoker. I let them know at the front desk and they noted it. I did not want to be charged for something that wasn’t me) The breakfast was very good and always well stocked. All in all I would give the hotel a 10 out 10. I really enjoyed my stay.

Staff was helpful. Motel showing signs of age. Noisy . A little overpriced for what you got. Breakfast was fair.

Room overall was clean but there was a slight musty smell in the bathroom shower. Staff was friendly.

Also when we get there and settle in, I’m sitting on the couch. I notice an ant, then I notice about 5. Never thought to much about it. We go to dinner, bring back some left overs for later. Guess what by 10pm covered in ants, have to throw it out. The next morning I was looking for the remote. Move the couch cushion. Find a piece of popcorn (we didn’t have or bring any popcorn) and about 50 ants all on and around it inside the couch!!! Not a very pleasant stay

2nd time here and a nice experience. For sure, one of my favorite place to stay when I am around the area! Clean room, nice staff, good breakfast and parking.

The biggest selling point for this hotel was it's location next to a Culver's. The room had an empty soda cup and some other trash in the corner from the previous occupants. The door only closed if you pulled on it very hard. The shower did not work because the pull on the spout would not stay so you could not get the shower to keep spraying. The breakfast was ok with the basics. I would not stay here again if I could help it.

Perfect for an overnight trip! Beds were comfortable and I fell asleep fast. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and kitchen staff were on top of making sure there was food available and refilling when needed.

There was an ant problem, but the nice young man working the afternoon shift came up and sprayed for them and that did help. I keep seeing a few stragglers though.

This is a solid hotel with some minor cosmetic issues. We booked this hotel on a whim after having to flee another hotel that had a strong cigarette odor, and we were very happy with the fresh air at La Quinta. Check in was quick and smooth, breakfast was better than expected, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

We had an issue with the air conditioning unit and the staff moved swiftly to provide us with a room matching our initial amenities. We were greeted with a smile Everytime and with everyone on the staff. Beautiful weekend!!

He is a great representative for the organization. He has a positive perspective and he constantly deals with the public, respect!

Cons for my visit of 2 days/nights *The room smelled damp. It was damp because there are no ;outlet fans in the bathroom, just a vent in the wall. This made the room feel musty, *The elevator floor was very dirty, lots of dirt and gunk around the edges *The maid did not offer to clean the room of vacuum it the second day. Only the towels were replaced. The hotel was supposed to clean every day unless the visitor declined. *there was mildew on parts of the tub *The water dispenser in the corner of the breakfast area had a blinking light saying the filter needed to be changed. * there was a desk in the room, but there was no chair to use the desk. A bed, a loveseat and no chair comfortable TV viewing only happened sitting on the bed, which did not help my back. I arrived about 5 PM the first day, went to get some coffee and the coffee was stale from the morning and lukewarm. Lighting in the room was not sufficient for reading unless I was sitting right next to the lamp PROS: * the price point was good; however, there were several noticeable issues in the building *The people behind the desk were extremely helpful, offering service just about every time I saw them. Very good! * I asked for a quiet room and the desk opened one for me on the third floor. * the large mirror in the bathroom was well lighted. *waffles seem to be in high demand and they had two waffle makers.

It was a nice place to stay there was some water on the floor by laundry room I almost fell a couple of times it was slippery it felt like it had soap mixed with water maybe from laundry room other than that I will still stay at that hotel I was very happy with the service

They were actively remodeling the hotel when we got there, including into the evening on one of the nights of our stay, so we checked out early.
