Southsider Motel

One person staff, unfriendly. Cleaning staff appeared to be a rotating group of homeless people living behind motel. Was afraid to leave anything of value while gone during the day. Homeless out front every day trying to bum smokes, etc. My worst experience ever!

No air conditioner in room it was stuffy the whole 2 days we stayed there

The property is def old, but the room was clean It was perfect for a single night stay Can’t beat the price

The bed bugs ruined what would have otherwise been a perfectly fine experience.

Price was great and location

The toilet in our room rocked when sat on, there was mold in the corners of the bathroom and on the no slip strip in the bath tub, mildew was on the shower curtain, and our non smoking room stunk like stale cigarettes

A clean, comfortable and inexpensive bed for the night, just what I needed.

older motel, but very well maintained. Near main highway so a bit noisy but i slept fine. close to everything . great value for money

The room was very small. Too small for 3 people even though we had a queen and a twin bed in the room.

Great customer service. Small budget hotel with clean rooms and nice updates. I have stayed in the past, and will stay again next time through Coos Bay

The room was decent for the price. Everything looked cleaned, but after walking to the bathroom a couple of times barefoot, it was obvious the floors hadn't been mopped in a while. If they were, it was with dirty water. The bottom of my feet were black. I had to wash them before I could put my shoes on. I might stay here again, but I would definitely wear slippers or flip flops before walking on the floors.

But the shower was pretty good. The cleanliness over all was pretty good. Plus, it’s in a pretty good location, so that was super nice. In general, I’d say it was a 2.5-3 star experience. Appropriately priced.

Very nice room. Clean and had a great fridge and freezer which we needed. Couldn't figure out the tv and finally worked. Called but no help. Other than that great place...and amazing price for what we got!

The motel is always clean and comfortable..The management is very helpful and friendly.
