Great staff, very helpful and accommodating when they realized they had my res got confused with someone else's with the same last name and first initial. They were quick to take care of us and even comped our parking and gave us a free breakfast coupon for 2…. Top notch staff, comfortable bed, very clean and great view of the bay and USS Lexington.

Stayed week of 4th of July. One of the busiest weekends of the year and only one elevator worked. They never had anybody out there working on it the whole time.. Guess not a priority. Spent a third of vacation waiting on elevator. They also expect you to pay $12 a day for parking... not disclosed until you get there. The only reason we would stay there again is because of the location.

Great view and access to the beach!

Our stay was over a holiday weekend and it seems they were short staffed for the bar and kitchen. Dinner on July 4th at 5:30 we sat at the bar thinking we would get service fast bc we had plans later. Took 20 mins for just the bartender to speak to us. Seemed he was doing all tables by himself the room was packed. We over heard him talking to someone else and he didn’t have the best attitude and said there was a 30-45 min wait just to get food. Also there was long waits for the elevator they had 2 elevators but only one was in use. The morning we left the elevator doors wouldn’t open completely and we chose the stairs. This info was provided to stay and their response was “it happens”.

Pool Front desk people attitude

We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again! The 2 rooms I booked were nice and clean; 1 room had a King bed located on the backside facing the parking lot, the other room was a Double Queen bed located on the side facing the USS Lexington & the ocean. We thought we got shafted at first when we paid for an ocean side view and saw it was the furthest room closest to the parking lot, but it did in fact have a nice view! The pool was also nice and clean, and we loved the pool swim up bar. The staff at the swim up bar made my young grandchild feel very special when she swam up and ordered a soda. The entire hotel staff was very nice and friendly. You pay $10.00 daily for parking by scanning one of many scan codes located in the parking lot. This process was very easy; you inputted how many days you are staying at the hotel, input your payment, and you're done! The hotel provides towels for the pool/ocean, so there's no need to bring any towels. If the rack of clean towels is empty, go to the front desk and request more. The beach is clean and they have rentals for chairs, sun tents, and jet skis! Jet skis are $60 for 30 minutes or $100 for 1-hour. The USS Lexington is right next to the hotel, and the Texas State Aquarium is just down the beach, all within walking distance. There are 2 nice novelty shops right next to the hotel as well as a few food places. Blackbeard's restaurant is right next to the hotel; it doesn't look like much on the outside, but the food was great and they had live music! The hotel has 2 elevators, but only one of them worked, so it took a little while to get an elevator. The stairs are located on each end of the hotel if you decide to use them. My room was on the 3rd floor. (There is not a 2nd floor.) The 3rd floor is the only floor that you can't use a hotel supplied wheeled luggage carrier on using the MAIN LOBBY elevator, you'll have to take the SERVICE elevator located over by the pool. The main lobby 3rd floor elevator will take you to the 3rd floor, but this is the floor that overlooks the main lobby and beach, there's about 5 steps to get to the actual floor with your room...there's no way to get your hotel supplied wheeled luggage carrier up these steps. It would have been nice to know this upon checking in, I only found out about the service elevator later when I informed the front desk how frustrating it was trying to get my belongings up to my room because of the 3rd floor issue.

Location, beach access, restaurant, pool and friendly staff Only one elevator was working but the staff was trying to accommodate by using the service elevator if a line developed. So it was a minor inconvenience

I love the location. I loved the view. I never even knew that part of corpus existed. There was only one elevator that worked, and it was slow.

The staff is amazing! The place is clean and comfortable. The pool is relaxing but gets too full. There is only one elevator working and it takes a while to become available.

The location could not have been better. Walk out the back door to the beach. The room was a nice size and clean. It felt a little tired and I think the entire hotel could use a little refresh. It was very hot and humid when we were there and the in room air conditioning barely kept up. It was ok and not hot in the room but never got close to what I would say was cool/cold. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The onsite restaurant food was average and we were happy to have it.

We loved the proximity to the beach and having great pool by the ocean was a huge bonus. The Hotel was clean, the staff was excellent and nothing beats that view. Since it was a short stay we ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and were surprised at how tasty the food was. Often hotel food is worth skipping but the prices were affordable and our food delicious. We will be coming back! Only a few small things, there was only one elevator working at the time. The pool towels are tiny and as a plant person the fake plants are offensive lol but we’d still give our stay a 9.5/10

Lo único malo es que solo fui por 4 días para la próxima saco una semana me encantó la atención la habitación todo limpio comida muy rica atención excelente un ambiente familiar muy agradable le recomiendo que continúen trabajado así con esa buena atención volvería una y mil veces y tiene una ubicación perfecta todo está cerca si vas con niño y quieres vivir una experiencia como el acuario y el porta avión no tienes que manejar puedes ir caminando la verdad el hotel es perfecto para tiempo familiar

It was right on the beach and at check our side ocean view room was exchanged to a full ocean view room that became available and that was greatly appreciated. The views were beautiful. The parking situation. We wanted to go out after dinner but we were afraid we’d lose our handicap space. The parking lot was full and my husband can’t walk far. We stayed at the hotel instead.
