It was very nice

The pool was extremely dirty, you can see a lot of hair and dirt, room and hallway carpet so dirty, you can see trash and door paint coming off. It seems they don't have any one vacuum. This was the worst holiday inn I've ever been.

Stay was good, great weather, good location. Front staff could have been a little more friendly but i get it, it was a holiday and it was busy but no excuses to be rude.

We arrived at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday and were told that no rooms would be available until the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. However, when other guests arrived around 3:10 p.m., they were checked in immediately. That inconsistency was frustrating and left us wondering why we weren't given the same opportunity. The location is fantastic, but unfortunately, the room and service did not meet our expectations. Housekeeping never cleaned our room or even made the bed during our stay. Although a male housekeeper was kind enough to stop by and offer fresh towels, the replacement towels were left on the floor instead of being properly placed in the bathroom. He was the only staff member who made an effort to help, and we appreciate his kindness. To make matters worse, there was mildew in the restroom, which is unacceptable for any hotel. This was our first negative experience here, but it was enough to change our minds. We will not be returning and will be staying at the Omni for future visits to Corpus Christi instead. The location alone isn't enough to make up for poor service, inconsistent check-in practices, and cleanliness issues. Do better. I cannot recommend staying here based on this experience.

Drinks in the hotel bar were quite expensive. A small margarita was $17. There were no vending machines or ice machines at this hotel. Rooms are very clean and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The location is close to many area attractions. Overall, I would stay here again.

Hotel seems outdated but served its purpose. Locking and sealing balcony doors was odd.. beautiful view of the bay but not being able step on the balcony was disappointing… again, it was ok.. for the price ? Won’t stay there again..

Staff Friendly, clean room, pool was nice
-
They charge you additional fees for parking and breakfast even though you pay a good amount to stay there. The elevators are old and take forever, sometimes not even working. Wouldn’t recommend.
-
This was a busy holiday weekend and they only had 2 running elevators. 1 guest and the staff elevator the others were broken which caused a delay. The rooms are not very clean and bathroom had mold. However the front desk was very friendly and professional.

I believe the only time our room actually felt comfortable enough for us to get some sleep was between 1am - 8am. I'm sure it has to do with the hotel being so close to the beach. Aside from the AC, our stay was nice.
-
pool was dirty water , people in pool were not supposed to be there , most importantly 2 of elevators did not work we were stuck on our floor for 45 minutes , finally went down 10 flights stairs on emergency exit ( and not signs showing where stairs were ) and exited out side hotel then walked around building to get back into lobby , my kids also were stuck upstairs the day before, line to get in a elevator were thru lobby and no sign as to where stairs were
-
Pool was very dirty , there was no towels for the pool only 2 elevators were working . People were using the service elevators . Lobby was super hot . Never again
-
They only had two elevators working which was the employees only and had long lines having to wait 30-40 mins just to get to the lobby, and in breakfast I was offered only one small drink of orange juice
-
This hotel is outdated and needs a desperate upgrade. The pool is small and shallow. The water looked like it needed a thorough cleaning. Two of the three elevators were out of service causing a very prolonged departure. Upon arrival in the room, there were no courtesy toiletries. The parking garage is dark and pricey. Overall, I'll never book this location again.
-
We drive 3 hrs to get to property to only be told they cancelled our room and staff said there is nothing they can do, when I chose the payment option to pay at the property, This property was pretty ran down, sorta blessed they cancelled our reservation without not even trying to call us..So we ended up sleeping in our car
-
Expensive because of location but the property is old and worn. Paid extra for high floor bay view room but was booked into a city view room. Ended up with 10 th floor (out of 20) partial bay view room after having to call management. Could not access balcony due to “safety concerns “ Thin walls no sound muffling to the outside. Heard all ambient street noise and other rooms. $10 charge to access the pool deck Only one of 2 elevators operational resulting in waiting 15-20 minutes for a lift. Towels old and yellowed. Shower amenities cheapest generics available. Bedding the same. Never again! .

This stay was absolutely a disaster. 20 floors and only one elevator. Room was so dirty. The pillows had mold. The front desk were rude and will it help with anything. When I told them about the mold they simply said oh ok.
-
Management rude to elderly guests, telling a lady to hurry up while getting onto an elevator. Carpet in room was wet from a leaking AC vent. Room would not cool. Vacuuming in the hallway outside the door at 7am.
-
We had to be moved rooms due to uncleanliness and broken furniture. Our second room was even worse the blinds were broken and the bedding sheets stained and dirty. Asked to speak with supervisor was told she was too busy to speak with me.

Beautiful hotel right on the water.
