Bed was comfortable, staff was nice

The reception is doesn't valid for this position to fulfill his job, He doesnot allocated the rooms on first serve first basis and also room were mold smell and no hot water. Requested to change room but it didn't happend.I have waited for the property manager call for three days it didn't happen.

Extremely run down and falling apart. Check in took more than 15 minutes. The room was dirty, walls were chipping, bathtub had oxidation, the elevator was falling apart. This hotel is in diarrh need of renovation. Families stay away!!

Even though the hotel is outdated, it was clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly and kind, mainly the lady in charged of the breakfast, super sweet and kind woman.

The bathtub had mold. No hot water. There was trash under the beds. The a/c was leaking and the carpet underneath was soaking wet. Worst of all, when the staff was told, they didn’t care. Just said they had no other rooms available and if I wanted a refund (which they still haven’t given me). Didn’t even attempt to fix anything. Disgusting and disappointing

It is right before you enter corpus so the out skirts. It was to far away from everything. Icemaker was broken on our floor. And we were on third floor and the elevator broke down had to go up a dark staircase. The breakfast was okay however, my husband grabbed a chocolate milk to go and took a drink and it was rotten. This La Quinta is not for us. Customer service, amenities, breakfast were just okay.

Overall the condition of the hotel was mediocre at best. The elevator did not work one evening and we had to go up three flights of stairs. The condition of the elevator was poor. The flooring was missing and looked terrible. Inside the room, the carpet felt damp. The remote for the tv did not work, The dresser the tv was sitting on was in need of repair. There were holes in the top of it. Same for the desk. The bathroom tub had rust in it.

All ice machines on the property weren’t working. The fridge in our room didn’t work. There was high dust in our room (on the bed frame). The elevator floor was peeling and lifting up. The staff was wonderful though.

The room as very clean and very spacious. The staff were super friendly and very accomodating, very good hot breakfast that changes every day. Would love to stay there again !!

Won't be staying at a La Quinta again. Property and room smelled like dirty wet carpet. Had to buy lysol to spray the room down. We encountered a scorpion in the hallway and a cockroach in the hotel room. Beds were comfortable, but room was very small. No couch. Elevators and ice machine were out of service. There was also an area closed off due to broken tiles. The grass around the property was overgrown and looked unkept. They also did not have cribs for baby. They said they had one crib, but it was broken so they didn't want to give it out.

Could use some cleanliness

Air conditioning not working in Bedroom. Bathtub has lot of stains. AC is leaking water. Smell in the room. Not recommended to anyone until they renovate. We took two rooms once suit and other is 2 Queen.

Breakfast was disappointing, had never had an issue before. TV is going out so picture was not the best

I paid for a senior room and the front desk in the beginning said did not have one. I insisted that I need one and paid extra. She gave .me one at the end.

Do not stay here! Rundown and dirty. Carpets were wet and sticky. Loud ac. Smells like mold in the rooms. Would not recommend.

Bathroom wasn’t clean. Room needs a new tub/shower. The sink has red drops of either ketchup or blood. The same with the tub. Hair on the floor, bed was super dusty, roaches inside the room and carpet looked dirty. The only good things were the staff (amazing and friendly customer service!) and the breakfast was very good! The woman who was setting the food was extremely nice. So, staff amaaaazing! Food was great! Hotel itself- dirty.

Ice machine not working on every floor. Window curtain torn severely. Eggs at breakfast had strange color. Young girl at check in chatting on her phone before checking me in. Also, had a small child running around behind the counter.

We got there and our room smelled terrible. Like dog pee. We had to move rooms. The next room still smelled but not as bad. The TV didn’t work, my husband had to carry the TV from another room because the lady was pregnant and he didn’t want her lifting anything. The lady was super nice and helpful. The building is run down and needs some TLC and carpet needs cleaning.

The carpet is wet in the rooms Botha times I booked and this second time I booked it the sheets smelled like urine? And I just stayed recently for 06/16/2026
