Fairfield Inn & Suites Omaha East/Council Bluffs, IA

Woke up with bites all over my body. My daughter did as well and so did my friend. Checked the beds and found a bed bug in the bed reported it immediately to the front desk. Was refunded a night stay. The water in the faucet in the bathroom was foul smelling. Cleaning staff was also loud talking to each other in the mornings. Staff was helpful when reporting the issues

Clean but somewhat falling apart. Staff somewhat friendly.

The hot tub was out of order and was one of the main reasons we booked that hotel was for a relaxing soak in the hot tub

This was excellent, Karen and Mary made us feel at home. Every Fairfield needs to be like them! We stayed in Coralville and they need to reach out and chat with these 2 ladies as they could learn how to make guests feel at home!!

Was notified the hot tub would be closed ahead of time. The pool was also closed

Clean room, staff helpful and super kind.

Over all stay was great, however there were some glitches due to a software update a few days prior to our stay that complicated check in for the staff and issues of key cards being deactivatived. The only contolable issue was some minor housekeeping duties that were not fully completed prior to check in. Staff were very helpful and polite through the uncontrollable circumstances.

We had a 3 night stay. Our room was never cleaned. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash ran out after the 1st morning. The hot tub isn't working and the employee said they're looking into filling it. I wouldn't have booked here if I knew the hot tub was broken. We went down for breakfast at 8am on Saturday & Sunday. Food was either empty or almost empty. I didn't see anything get refilled. Scrambled eggs were cold. Juice machine is also broken. Used the "hot" water to make tea, it was cold. I used the microwave in the breakfast area to heat it up. Our room didn't have a microwave. Very disappointing. They ladies working the front desk seemed friendly. On our 3rd night I called down and asked for fresh towels, 2 hours later still no towels. My husband went down to request towels. As for t.v. there's not much offered, I'm pretty sure it was basic cable. The bathroom smelt of mildew and looked run down. The beds were comfortable but that's the only good thing I can compliment about our room.

Coffee packets were wedged into the a/c vents, guessing to try and help with the smell. Very outdated room and furniture for a Marriott. The property next door was a red roof & the outside looks a whole lot nicer than the Fairfield. The indoor swimming has rust inside the walls all the way around the sides more towards the top. Pretty nasty. Everytime my 1 year old granddaughter got out of the pool, just walking lightly would fall it was SO SLIPPERY!!! My grandson kept falling as well. The workers were all very nice and polite and pleasant to talk with. Breakfast was good each morning!! It’s just the property itself DOES NOT life up to the Marriott name, that is for sure!!!

Large, clean room, very helpful and friendly staff and breakfast area was very nice. A great place to stay.

The bath tub was filthy. Candy wrappers on the floor.

Good location and property

Arrived a couple hours after check-in time. Housekeeping was still working and it took a few minutes to verify that we had a room. No problem. Staff was pleasant and upfront about it. Room was clean. Surprised to encounter a room in 2026 with no USB outlets. Only real complaint is that we got a king with a pull out for our three year old but the pull out was in pretty poor shape and very uncomfortable such that we couldn't get her to sleep on it. I imagine the staff would have moved us, but we discovered this pretty late. I can't imagine that anybody would consider this a suitable bed.

The room above ours began leaking through the roof into our bathroom at about 2:00am. When brought to the hotel staffs attention it was responded with “there’s nothing we can do”.

Hotel was being renovated, so it was a bit unsettled-looking. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly. We liked how the hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable.

Nice overnight hotel. Great staff. Clean room. Nice shower. Easy check in and out. Unfortunately the hot tub was being repaired — would have been nice after a long day of driving.

Very clean and quiet and great location

The hotel is still under construction. Our hot water didn’t work so we had to take ice cold showers. The stay was okay but certainly not worth what we paid at all. The exterior is not updated and it makes you question if the interior has been updated.
