Very old. Shower was mess. Poor breakfast. I could hear people in hallway like in my room. Huge tv though.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We did not use the amenities. The only negative was the side entry had dried leaves on the floor.

This was a comfortable hotel that had many extras and was a good value for the price. You can tell it is dated, but everything was in good working order. The pool area was really amazing and they also had an outside area with tables that you could sit and enjoy the evening. I thought the bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. I would definitely stay again.

I wish they would get some better pillows. The pillows offer no support .

    1) There was a spot on the floor between the wall and the bed that was clearly a spill that had been there for years and never cleaned up (along with dirt). I took my shoes and socks off to relax for the evening and had pieces of plastic and dirt stuck to my feet. 2) The smoke detector had been removed from the room wall and there was no visible sprinkler system. 3) The courtyard needs a landscape service. Weeds grown up and hideous. 4) Pool was freezing and pool room was a sweat lodge. 5) Lastly but very important, eggs were bland, sausage patties not heated thoroughly and tater tots heated 100 times too many. The cream cheese, jellies and butters should be placed near the bagels, breads and muffins display. Not near the waffles, as there were already toppings for those. It was hard for multiple people to find. 6) There was a little dog barking early in the morning that was very annoying.

This hotel has an excellent location. 5 minutes to the zoo, right next to some shopping and only a 10 minute drive to walmart. The pool was quite large making it easy to spread out from guests with different intentions for pool use. This place is very oddly built. It has either had poorly designed remodels or was an odd design from the beginning. Each room has an individual a/c unit but most of them exhaust to the hallway or the pool courtyard(indoors). So the halls were very very warm. It was also a bit of a labyrinth to find the front desk to get pool towels restocked. No signage on the doors or arrows pointing the way a less than obvious path. Over all the hotel served its purpose and if stay here again if my main goals were to go to the zoo and save some money.

The rooms were very clean. The housekeepers were very nice the front desk people were very nice.. our icebox didn’t work in the room and they replaced it right away. But it does not have a continental breakfast. They serve scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes and soup which my step kids would not eat and My Husband is allergic to eggs. It says it has a pool, but it actually has a bath house pool. Not a pool to swim in, that is hot as heck in there humid and smells like mold. So we had to go pay somewhere else for them to go swimming we had to go eat at IHOP for breakfast every morning. When the whole reason I booked a room at Best Western because free Continental breakfast and because it said it had a pool. And to collect my reward points.

I had business in Omaha and even though the motel was in Council Bluffs it was a short 20 minute trip to Omaha and to the airport. For the price it was a great value. Safe area, clean rooms, good parking, friendly staff and nice breakfast lounge.

    Very nice place to stay.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Negatives : Strips of flooring were bubbling up all over and a trip hazard. Fixtures in tub and sink were corroded and rusty. Dirty ring around inside of toilet. Last minute decision to stay. Arrived late and left early the next morning. Didn’t have breakfast so no comment there. No USB charging ports.

It was clean and cheaply remodeled. There was no where to park as everything was roped off. It is also kind of a sketchy area and owners were not able to communicate about the parking situation. Breakfast looked like it was going to be good but upon closer inspection it was not good.

Cleanish room. No working hot water room was so hot couldn’t sleep. Pool was dirty.

Upon arriving around 4:45pm, they were still actively cleaning the rooms we were assigned(requested adjourning rooms). We waited roughly 30 minutes before we could get into our rooms. Once in the rooms, the floors weren’t swept the best and sheets smelled cleaned, but had some stains and there was a dark, coarse hair on one bed. I called and talked to the front desk and they sent the cleaning ladies up and they promptly got new sheets for the beds. The pool was okay. Breakfast the next morning was fairly good.

    Easy access.

The hotel was very clean. The pool area and seating area in the pool area was huge. Our room was very clean. Air worked well have no complaints. Maybe the only downside was the bed could’ve been more comfortable.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Clean Room the housekeeping staff was really helpful and checked in daily. The pool area is extremely hot. All the AC units from downstairs area vent in there. Be warned there is no elevator so not very ADA friendly. There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer unfortunately it’s on the 2nd floor all the way in the back of hotel. The ice machine in our area was broken the whole time we were there. If a nights stay it’s ok but long stay maybe reconsider.
