Super 8 by Wyndham Cromwell/Middletown

There were too many weird people just hanging out all around the property. Didn’t feel too safe. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, especially the bathroom. The bathtub was peeling and there was hair on the walls of the shower. There was also a dead roach in the wall socket. One evening while sitting on the bed watching tv, a roach crawled down my wife’s arm. That was disgusting and truly unacceptable. Would not be staying there ever again.

Breakfast consisted of a granola bar and tiny cups of juice. They should not advertise that they serve breakfast

The person at the desk was not friendly. Matter of fact did the job and that was it. The room smelled like cigarettes when we walked in. Even though throughout the facility no smoking signs are plate. Breakfast was coffee and cold cereal. The room was not very clean and not in good repair. Next year we will find a new hotel for our stay in the area.

This is a homeless shelter charging 300$ for the weekend to unsuspecting guests. My room smelled like there was a dead body in it.

Roach infested hotel. Would not recommend anyone to stay here not even 1 night.

In the words of Bette Davis " What a dump". Real dirty, beds were over used. Bathroom was gross. Couldn't wait to check out. One night stay was way too much.

Rooms need serious updating. Bathroom tub did not drain properly. No cups in bathroom or the room.

The whole place smells of smoke

The room had a humid musty smell as soon as I arrived. Turned on the AC after one hour realized it wasn't working. A staff member came up to the room to check the AC still didn’t work. She said she would leave a note that the AC was not working and to have our room changed for the next day and refund us 1 day. That night I had to pay more money and went some where else since it was 78 degrees and the musty smell was giving me allergies. The next day I called to ask if they had another room ready for me and the manager literally told me there was no note about the AC being broken and that he went to check and it was working. I told him ok I would head back he proceeds to tell me they booked the room and they had no more rooms. Then again online it shows they had 4 more left. I swear it will be the last time I ever go to this super 8. the staff isn't much to be desired either. How this place has a 4 star rating is beyond comprehension. Also drains were clogged.

The air conditioner was broken, the towel rack in the bathroom was ripped off the wall, the ice machine was not working on the second floor. Staff was nice, but there was nothing they could do to help. We will not be staying there again

Might be the nicest super 8 ive ever stayed in. For the price point, nothing to complain about. Late checkout was cheap & accommodating, AC worked, no bugs, close to food & convenience store. What more can you ask for from a motel.

Nice location Good value Continental breakfast is a joke. Coffee, OJ and a granola bar. Better off NOT advertising this.

This was my 4th hotel in one week and by far the comfiest bed and quietest night I had on the trip. Large parking lot mostly convenient area right at the of shopping strip. No breakfast despite advertising it but there was a better coffee machine then the usual options
