Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas East - Fair Park by IHG

I love this hotel!!

It was okay, but not something to write home about. Staff were mildly friendly, breakfast was good, the neighborhood was in the "hood". I asked for a 630am wake up call and never received it.

Also they charged $5 parking per day which was never informed before. It is like open parking lot and no parking tag was given so how would someone assume there is parking fee.

Nice an clean rooms

I was there with family for surgery at Baylor/Scott White.

The room had a horrible smell . I called back the next day and the gentleman on the phone was super ruined . Was left on hold multiple times and had to call back .

Staff was friendly and nice. It seemed they were working on the maintenance of the building but I never heard construction noise in my room. Cons: pool was out of service during my stay. I was on the second floor, so I could hear all the steps of the third floor above me.

Everything was okay I asked the front desk to change sheets for my pt, she just Made it without charging the sheets like i asked.

The hotel was near the freeway and the conference. Clean Room never happens during the entire visit. Each day, I had to go to the front desk to get replacement towels and put trash outside the door. After 6:00 pm, there is no maid service or maintenance daily. Parking was not available because truckers take 5 parking spaces at a time. The back of the hotel has plenty of space, but it is not safe. The pool and jacuzzi did not have water, and customers were not notified. My encounter with front desk Sophia and Song was pleasant. They did not have any authority to discuss professional matters without speaking through their absent manager, Ms Bain, who offered no customer service. I requested a full refund from Expedia and my credit card.

The location was great for me. It was close to the things I went to Dallas for. The Pool was dirty! The remote seemed like it had previously been taped and someone removed the tape leaving a sticky residue. I was charged a pet fee for my service animal. When I called to request a refund the staff was rude. And the manager was very difficult to reason with. The breakfast was horrible uncooked pancakes from the pancake maker. The choices were making a sausage biscuit w gravy. A egg taco with un melted cheese. Oatmeal, some pastries, bagels. I would not recommend this location and parking is almost nonexistent.

Staff was great and the breakfast was very good! The bathrooms/ showers are in desperate need of an upgrade. Small lip of the shower ends up with LOTS of water on the bathroom floor.

The room, hotel was great! I did not like the parking, very small, did not feel safe parking behind the hotel. I waited for a few minutes, finally got one.

Nothing Kids were running up and down hall way setting off alarm and the air didn’t work inside of the room.
