MainStay Suites Dallas Northwest - Irving

The location. The rooms could be cleaner, the sheets would be wash better. On the first room we killed a roach and had some burn areas around the bathroom and the sink was used but when I went to the front desk the guy didn’t let me even finished talking. And just swapped me rooms.

It was clean. Had problems with my TV.

Ceiling had water leak and needed repair. The smell in room did not seem fresh. Maybe it was cleaning chemicals. The staff was reasonable and overall not bad, but condition did not seem as nice as pictures.

I had to switch rooms 3 times, before checking in. They only had one worker and he was going from room to room trying to fix other issues. The rooms were big but needs updates. The hotel is split with another hotel. On one side it's an extended stay. They are rated an 8/9, not really. Don't like the area at all..

Nice and reasonable place to stay when you’re traveling to Dallas. The staff was pleasant and nice. I stayed there last year for Dallas game! Will book again

The guy that was there that night tried to help us as best he could, but he was literally the only person on staff. Well, for starters, our room was dirty. Our beds were already slept in with food crumbs and we were moved to another room that was dirty and we had to change our own sheets. Keep in mind. We just left the airport and arrived around one something in the morning. I have an entire video, but for some reason, I cannot submit that on this app. I’ll just take it to Google. But the picture below literally shows how the sheets looked as soon as we pull back the comforter to get in bed.

Breakfast was great and fresh every time. A little farther from the city than I’d like but I enjoyed my stay.

The room had a funny smell and the bathroom floor was wet when I first got my keys. I don’t know if it was the shower or the toilet, but something was causing the little puddle. The body soap container was missing from the shower wall, it just had the shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Other than that the room looked nice with the kichenette. The bed was comfy and a/c was great. Probably won’t stay here again.

Our doors locked and we didn’t get bitten by bed bugs. The night person was way nicer and he did what he could to make it right. Our rooms were not ready when we got there at 6pm. The front desk lady really didn’t care. She made it seem like it was pretty normal for not having the rooms prepared. All of our key cards stopped working in the morning way before we checked out (like around 7am). All the rooms smelled off and the fire kept going off on room 303 when someone takes a hot shower. Room 408 door literally fell off the door. The night desk person fixed it right away.
