The room appeared clean, but in the morning, we woke up to cockroaches on the bed pillow. I had my 10-month-old with me, and several roaches were crawling next to where he was lying on the bed. I quickly jumped up and packed up. Left breakfast that my fiance had just bought for us and RAN as fast as I could. Would not expect this at the Ethan Allen Hotel. Will never stay there again, waiting on a refund.

It is a large well maintained property that seems to be under utilized when I have stayed there. The rooms are well furnished and maintained. The amenities are sparse compared to comparable properties. The hotel bar and restaurant had reduced hours, which may be a result of not many guests during this time. I have to say I like this property- large gathering spaces and a lobby level lounge that goes on forever. The food, which we had in bar area, was of good quality and tasty. It’s a shame the bar was not open Sunday evening when we wanted to have dinner and watch the World Cup!! But this year, I was very disappointed in one aspect of my stay, which may be an indicator of other problems. The two TVs in my room did not function properly. Both were smart tv’s, and I was not able to get local stations. The streaming services were available (if you had a subscription) but the local stations were not available and engineering was not able to be of assistance. So I had no access to either local or cable stations. It looked like the TVs were new and had not been properly set-up when installed in the rooms. I had to stream what I wanted to see from my iPad. I will probably return again, but I wonder whether this issue is a sign that things are amiss at the property. Time will tell.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ethan Allen Hotel. The hotel was clean, and spacious with multiple seating areas including a lovely lounge and courtyard. The pool was clean and came in handy during the hot spell. The hotel staff, including the housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was minutes from many amenities including a large mall and many restaurant options. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The entire staff , especially the front desk , handled an unexpected surge in guests due to weather

Of all the places I've ever stayed, it was the best service we had, the girls at the reception were very attentive ❤️ cleaning was impeccable. Note: due to the size of the local hotel, the coffee food is small for the number of people it accommodates, there were only 2 people to prepare, replace food and clean tables

The room was clean and in good condition. The only issue that I had with the room was that the water didn’t drain immediately after the shower. I got in the shower directly after my husband and the water was up to my ankles. Otherwise, it was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Solid place to stay, well priced. This was my 3rd time staying at the EA. TV was not working and despite call to front desk, was not attended to during my stay. Soap, conditioner and body wash dispensers were empty. It’s still a good place to stay but time had some issues. Will stay again next time I’m in area though.

Trip to Ethan Allen was great. Stayed for 2 nights. Would definitely stay again when traveling through the area. Clean, updated and modern main areas. Convenient to highway.

Clean ice place

Nice location. Clean

We stayed for a night as a roadtrip spot so can’t speak to the amenities, but the room was fine - not great, not bad. It was clean and comfortable, but definitely showing its age. The bathroom was pretty sad, with weak water pressure and a tub that wouldn’t drain well. Unfortunately it wasn’t a step above the usual roadside hotel.

The property is a little dated but it is maintained and clean.

My room was on first floor and when traveling alone I usually do not stay on the first floor; room had ground access and adjacent to parking lot but I was too tired and decided I'd make sure of window locks for security. The room's deadbolt lock didn't work and there was a chain lock instead of a bolt so that didn't help my need to feel safe. This room had a number of deferred maintenance items: peeling wall covering, ripped blackout shade on the window, no heat lamp nor ceiling fan in bathroom - indeed the dial was on wall but without a button/handle to operate it, the stopper in bathtub did not move when I used the lever to lift it before taking a shower so I pulled it out and left it that way for my stay, the coffee pods were all decaffeinated, so I went to the front desk the next morning and asked if I could have a couple of caffeinated ones. The morning desk clerk said, 'oh yeah, housekeeping probably ran out; she opened a drawer near her full of coffee/tea pods for the keurigs in the rooms, picked out 1 caffeinated coffee and handed it to me saying that's all she had for the week. (I walked to the lobby area each morning after and filled 2 cups there). Maybe all minor issues, for sure, but I've stayed in many properties were maintained better and didn't charge as much. this was not worth the $

It did the job. The beds were comfortable. Although I wouldn't stay here longer than one night, its just not worth the price.
-
It was an ok stay. Definitely not worth $230 for the stay. The walls in the room were peeling. Everything was just okay. Average room.
-
Sink and tub did not drain well. Beds comfortable. Accommodations are quiet. The whole building needs an update of carpet, furnishings, paint, etc.

Everything was grea. Helpful staff. Clean pool
-
Staff was amazing! The pool was very private, but small would stay again

I stayed in one of the older rooms, and the plumbing was not great. The room was convenient to the lobby and the pool. The restaurant was closed for dinner on Sunday and Monday. Very close to the highway, restaurants and the mall.

The carpeting was extremely old and everything smelled musty. The bathroom in the room was very dated. They provided 1 roll of toilet paper and when I asked cleaning lady for another roll, she said she didn't have any. Two cups in the room for coffee, when room was booked for 3. Also, we couldn't sleep because the A/C made a loud rattling noise all night. Definitely does not deserve a rating of 8 or "Very good".
