Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Davenport by IHG

We love Holiday Inn and Suites. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean all around. Rooms are showing their age a bit, but very nice and clean. The air was a little hard to regulate, but not so much that I wouldn’t come back. We didn’t eat at the hotel, to much going on that kept us going. Have in the past, very good! A good two night stay!

Nothing Dirty room staff didn’t care

Restaurant breakfast with mediocre items. This should have been a complementary breakfast for guests not a pay breakfast.

Staff was nice the room was cool and comfortable with the exception of the bed. It was extremely warn and had a major divot in the middle.

Holiday Inns get a lot of hard use from travelers and partiers, proms, etc. This place does a good job overall. Staff are very nice. There are no towel racks in the bathroom to hang up a towel, which should be standard since everyone is trying to save water by not just throwing used towels on the floor. There are dispensers for soap, lotion, body wash, so they nailed that. No shower cap. There was a bit of smeared brown substance on the commode that I had to clean off. There were the usual cigarette burns in a couple of the curtains - though in fairness, I see that everywhere. The industrial grade carpet in the main areas, as well as all the dining chairs, show quite a bit of use. The Midwest is sticky with humidity but it felt like you could feel an extra layer of sticky around door handles and on surfaces that would be touched frequently. Breakfast was adequate but more fresh fruit should have been standard. It is nice that they include all taxes in their quotes. Water from the taps is lukewarm, so that ice bucket is necessary.

The front desk staff was amazing! Very helpful and accommodating! The room was nice. Could've been a little cleaner. The walls in the room/bathroom had some kind of splatter on it which was gross, but I tried to look past that. The breakfast offering was basic. I do not believe it was worth the $13 per person we paid. The food was blah and the coffee was horrible. I wouldn't eat there again. Overall though the stay was pleasant, and I would stay again.

No free breakfast! Price was a little high for no breakfast and room could use freshening up!
