Courtyard by Marriott Daytona Beach Speedway/Airport

The breakfast was delicious, it was extra money. The staff at the bistro were amazing. The room smelled musty every time I entered the room. Our room was by the elevator and ice machine. We heard the elevator going up and down and the noise from people getting ice.

Smelly room/ slow draining sink.

The check in staff was rude and was on the phone while talking to me. It was hard to tell when he was asking me questions or asking the person on the phone questions. He snapped at me when I responded out of turn. I asked a question about the elevator and he just glared at me. Every time we got on the elevator, the maintenance guy was in our way and made silly jokes going back and forth to block us. At 1:30 AM it got really noisy, waking us up and stayed noisy for the next two hours. Leaving, the morning staff was a little nicer but kept asking for our room number and last name repeatedly even though we handed the key card back with the room number on it and we told him repeatedly. This was not the usual Marriott experience.

It was centrally located to our graduation venue. We were without a car for a short spell, and I was in close enough proximity to walk to McDonald's for the kids if I needed to. The staff were kind in greeting us and working out our booking name mishap. They also gave us extra towels without grief. Some hotels really give a hard time about having an extra set of towels, so this was a pleasant experience. The graduation extended a bit after the checkout time, but the manager allowed us a later checkout ro he able change and catch our breath, and dor that we are grateful. The paid breakfast needs to be either continental or nothing at all. This new format that hotels or Bonvoy/Marriott have started with select menus isn't very efficient. We were almost late to graduation because the line was long with graduation attendees waiting to order, and for two servers to prepare the meal. We would yave gone to McDonald's for faster service.

The room was clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable if you like a springy bed. The staff were nice and overall the property was clean.

Just an overnight stay and it is close to the airport and has a restaurant so that we didn’t need to leave the property.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I guess the main thing was they had free 24/7 airport shuttle.

Staff was wonderful. Able to take a shuttle to and from the airport. On site breakfast was good. Potatoes were hot. Bacon was cooked not over cooked. Scrambled eggs were average. Room was average. Shower pressure was ok. The only downside was the hotel didn't have hot water one morning.

When I first checked in and they put me in a room that was very moldy. When I informed the staff the next day, they immediately changed my room, and the rest of my stay was very enjoyable.

Larger room than the neighboring hotel. Free parking (they charged at neighboring hotel). Nice staff let me check in early. Glad I moved over!
