Hampton Inn Daytona Speedway

Clean room and friendly staff.

The breakfast was very limited and not particularly good. The rooms were not properly cleaned and were extremely humid. Housekeeping is not provided daily, as stated on Expedia, but only every other day. We will not be staying here again.

The staff were all very nice and friendly. There was a variety of breakfast items to choose from and the eating area was quite large enough for everyone. Overall, a great stay.

The carpet in the rooms is dirty and need replacing or cleaning just walking on it turned my feet dirty on the bottoms, and I had to take multiple foot baths to keep my feet clean and put towels down to walk on

Breakfast every morning and nice variety. Juices and coffee tooc9ld ac unit. And quiet though next to lobby. Actually liked my spot very much. Staff was hard working and polite. Room was clean. Large TV and immediately had hot water for shower and bath. Pets were acceptable with a flat rate for 2 cat and dog. At 75$ absolutely a great place to overnight.

I was charged $6900 on my card for a water bottle instead of $6.99. The manager said she noticed the charge when she came to work in the morning but failed to call the customer for notification. Mind you, this was a 2 am transaction by one of her employees. Not even an apology for failed notification. All she said was she reversed the charge when she noticed it. Ma’am it was not part of my room incidentals! My card was charged $6900 that caused an overdraft to my savings account. The bathroom does not have an exhaust so when you shower, the steam has nowhere to go, so it built a lot of moisture and made the floor slippery. The ceiling paint started coming off and condensation dripping from the ceiling. Management and maintenance said we needed to keep the room temperature at freezing 68degrees at all times. It’s a smaller room. Not every customer would like to freeze while sleeping. Free breakfast was reasonably good. The pool is ok but looked deceivingly bigger on the website.

Room 331 had a wet tile bathroom floor all the time and its very slippery, likely from Very high humidity in the room and the carpeting was very dirty. A well priced room but I dont see me going back.

Good place to stay, breakfast was a little drawback with nothing to drink from the juice machine. Paying extra for parking was also not expected. The floor was stickey to walk on. Not as good as the ratings I saw when booking. Not bad but not great either. Would I stay there or recommend,,,, probably not.

The house keeping person on the second did not have clean towels and was rude when asked for them. There was a roach in the room. The room was never cleaned Tuesday thru Saturday stay

However they really need to upgrade there toilets they are extremely to low very outdated

The staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was great. My room needed a little updating. There were a few small spots of paint bubbling in the ceiling and at the top of one wall. There were a few gray spots on the ceiling of the bathroom. The fan didn't blow strongly. Also, I forgot my slippers. The rug needed to be shampooed. I mistakenly walked on it barefoot. There was hair and something else stuck to my foot. I stayed last year and didn't have an issue. I just think this room needs a little extra attention.

The a/c worked very well. The toilet and tub drain did not drain very well, though. Everything was very clean.
