Oceanside Inn 605

I will say my positives first . I appreciated the cold Ac in the room . The tiki bar was good and the bartender was great .Now for the negatives, Paint was peeling off the ceiling. The toilet wouldn’t flush without us lifting the lid each time . Only one slow elevator .No ice machine . Hallways and interior smelled and was hot . Room was not ready after check in time . The whole room needs updating .

Only good thing, that it was actively an Ocean view room. Never again!

Late check in was pain. You can't pay at the property. There is no desk. We had no power to our unit. They had us reset the breaker. That didn't help with the wall the tv was on. There were only two dim lamps. The ceiling was falling apart. The dust was so thick in the corners. The toilet stopped working. They texted fine the first night and then after that no responses. The walls are so thin our neighbors had us up until 3 am and again at 6 am because they were arguing. We were there for an archery tournament and our son had to shoot in the morning and was kept up by profanities and yelling all night. The hallways always smelled bad. Only one elevator worked and was very slow.

We had to contact the management to log into let them know we there. The Tv plug didn’t work. The toilet fill float had to be adjusted after every use. We also didn’t know parking was an extra expense.

No balconies but good for a quick stay.

Nothing was “Oceanside”. Our view was a parking lot FULL of cars! Awful experience!!

Nothing worked in the room, the tv the WiFi the ac the heat! NOTHING WORKED! I paid for an ocean view room and was looking at the parking lot instead! The walls and ceiling had holes and missing paint and dents!!! 0/0! DO NOT RECOMMEND

Property was located near many shops, restaurants & a few grocers Host was hospitable & responded promptly. Host recommended area restaurants, which was appreciated. When I asked about laundry facilities, host couldn’t provide accurate info & I was left to figure it out on my own. Main entryway was pretty nice, but the same aesthetic could NOT be found throughout the entire building. Unit was mediocre at best. I always do a quick Clorox wipe down of high touch surfaces before settling in when I stay away from home and was pleased that surfaces were clean. The unit had a weird, musky odor drowned out by disinfectant spray. Security is needed on site as we encountered sketchy people inside the lobby and immediately outside the front entrance. Beds were surprisingly comfy - no complaints! Kitchen area provided enough space and utensils for small, quick meals (eggs & bacon; toasted sandwiches; maybe a chicken breast or steak if you’re feeling fancy). The bathroom toilet seat was obviously stained and well past its lifespan- this is a minimal investment that could make a significant improvement. Photos of the unit were photoshopped rather heavily. The unit was apparently partially renovated with the bathroom being grossly overlooked. While the hallways are not part of the unit, they are the only way to & from the unit. While I can appreciate that renos were underway, the hallways were creepy, rundown, dingy & smelled of stale smoke, moisture and poor ventilation. Two guest washers and a handful of dryers in the building, of which most of the dryers were out of service and one washer was out of service. Unsure how many short term rental units are in the building, but you’ve got almost no chance at washing on site. Fortunately the building is centrally located and there were a few laundromats nearby. Beach chairs and towels provided by host are a nice amenity, though we didn’t need or use the chairs.

Clean and location The hot tub is now a planter, the indoor pool was closed, the Internet was slow, and the kids couldn't have fun at the pool because no toys, splashing, loud noises, ect.

Beach was viewable out a small portion of the window. Room was clean and bug free.. had dishes with 1 (burner) hot plate and the small refrigerator needs replaced, doesnt keep food or drinks cold. Needs to stock with more toiletries for a week for 4 people. Overall very nice and owners was pleasant to text with..

This place is terrible! Whole property is dirty and outdated. No employee at all on premises our whole stay. Have to pay to park but when you arrive there is no employee so another guest told us you have to go on the computer to get your parking pass otherwise your car will be towed! It's very dark place inside and out. Our room had the bathroom light and 1 lamp so when you enter your room it's dark and can't turn the lamp on until your way in your room. The pictures that where online where not at all the hotel or whatever you want to call it so very deceiving. Had dead bugs in our bathroom and outside the building there was a dead rat right next to the building! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here. I sent them a message the day we arrived and never received a response!

Didn't like the self check in, no desk clerk. No one to talk to or ask questions. Elevator was slow, only one Elevator worked.

You have to pay a $10 resort parking fee which is not listed on the info at booking. You have to walk behind yhe desk to the computer and type your vehicle info , pay for it and print it. Elevator is sketchy. Anyone can enter this building. Building is rundown,a/c did not work in our room and there was absolutely no one to tell. . Remote for tv needed batteries and we had to purchase them......why? Because there was no one to tell that dealt with pur room. Just a bad experience and I do not recommend

No staff, no housekeeping , no cleaning staff.

Only one elevator working and it was slow. People that stay here shouldn't have to pay for parking.
