Great place to stay! Very clean, very helpful staff, love the remodel!

The historic hotel was beautiful. I loved the character of the place. The room was on the smaller side but updated and nice. The room had high ceilings and large windows. The steakhouse was really good for breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again. The parking down the street wasn’t ideal but it worked fine.

The history and charm is impressive.

If you are a biker this place is for you. If not, make sure you’re aware of the events in the summer. The streets were loud and packed which detracted from the quaint, western town we were hoping to experience. Some historic events were canceled due to the overcrowding of bikes and the event. The rooms were updated very nicely and the size and beds accommodates a large family very well.

Havnt got my deposit back yet but otherwise was good!

The location was great for exploring Deadwood. The guest parking was a couple blocks away, while camera secured staff parking was right behind the hotel.

The room was especially clean and nice with a fantastic bathroom and flat screen TV. We also had a great view of the town square. Air conditioning inside the room was good. There is a balcony/veranda on the 2nd floor with a bar which was really nice to relax on. The tables had umbrellas to block the sun. Only one elevator and it was very very slow. Parking lot for the hotel was way down the street but once you got there it had plenty of spaces. The hotel was hot inside and throughout until you were able to get inside your room.

Breakfast was not good. Our waitress wasn't very friendly, and when my partner ordered a build-your-own omelet, he asked for onions, peppers, and mushrooms. He's kosher, so he doesn't eat meat. When he got his omelet, it was covered with bacon. He returned it and then was served another omelet with the veggies and cheese. He didn't want cheese. He never asked for the cheese.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. There was so much to do in Deadwood and the Franklin was easy to navigate from. We enjoyed the fact that we did have free parking and that there was such history in the hotel. The staff was helpful at any time and our room was clean and tidy. I really wish there were more up-to-date, keno machines

Parking sucks, Loose water pressure to nothing while showering, Nice room, but no room for sitting or moving around .

The staff was super friendly except the male bartender, he didnt have much personality. The updated room was very nice. I love the modern look. Outside, what happened to the big rockers. I was told I could not get a chef salad to go so I could take it to my room.
