Great property I’ll stay again.

The location was perfect for exploring Deadwood by foot. Easy check in, parking was convenient and very necessary since we were there so close to the Sturgis rally. Wish we had more time to explore honestly!

Ever excellent

Rooms were clean. Check in staff not so friendly. Breakfast was ok. Could hear all the traffic.

Nice place, Would stay here again
-
Bed was comfortable, staff helpful, breakfast was nice & available throughout the day. Will most definitely stay here again.

Location of hotel is good and was quiet. This particular visit the room wreaked of stale smoke. Our concern was dismissed as to it hadn’t been sprayed with an air freshener and was an old building.

Well, I have to take the Sturgis bike rally into consideration so …… couldn’t find our reservation (though paid ahead). When it was found we were told that the room wouldn’t be available until at least 3:30 pm (check in was 3:00 pm) and got in room about 4:00. Television didn’t work so we walked to town after stopping and asking if they could try to get working while we were gone. Long story short the TV wasn’t working when we got back and the all night motorcycle stuff made sleeping difficult.

Coffee was quite good as some hotels have bad coffee.

The hotel overall was nice and well kept. Our room was clean. It was a bigger room than we expected. It was quiet and the temperature controls worked well. It is close to all shops and restaurants. We received a parking pass and were able to park about 1/2 a block away in a parking lot. It was nice having coffee available in the morning. We only interfaced with the front desk personnel and they were all very helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located right in the middle of Deadwood, permitting walking of the whole area. Parking is a block away, but very handy and included. Our 3rd floor room overlooked the street and we were warned that 2am gets loud when the bars and other establishments close, but it wasn’t bad with the fan going. Cozy and compact room was well configured with everything we needed and was so convenient. We didn’t realize gambling was localized in town to help pay for restoration projects, but it was contained within historic buildings in town. Breakfast was mostly carbs and coffee. We enjoyed our stay; staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff was rude and unhelpful

There was a blood stain on the bed, no comforter and no staff at the desk to get one. 0 water pressure from sink faucet for hand washing and brushing teeth. Toilet barely flushed. Shower head had so much nasty grime built up on it. The bed and pillows felt like bricks. Overall it was filthy, poorly maintained, and made the overnight miserable. We'll never stay here again, and at $150 for the night, you'd think the owners could afford to maintain their rooms quite a bit better, at least fix the bathroom.

The queen bed was more like a double, but the staff was willing to upgrade for an additional fee. The rooms are very small and there is a LOT of traffic noise, but upon our request the staff provided a fan to cover the noise. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Close by parking included, continental breakfast area was clean and sufficient. We would probably find a bigger room next time, but it worked for our needs.

Would stay again!

Room was cozy, and fairly well kept. Casino/gambling was pretty fun/entertaining. Only complaint we had on the whole trip was the Maverick Steakhouse that was associated with the hotel left alot to be desired. Food was super bland, but the wait staff was super helpful.

Outside.

Nicely designed and decorated, great location on a cute cobblestone street.

Great hotel! Close to everything.

Dirty, dirty, dirty, and not in a good way. Carpet along the edge looks like it was cleaned immediately after construction last time. Hair in the sink, hair in the shower, toilet was unimpressive, and grime on the floor of the shower. I’m pretty sure my grandmother would not be impressed.
