Loved just about all of it, and what I didn’t like was period-perfect, so that’s my problem, not yours. A+. Will definitely recommend to good friends (crappy friends can stay in the holiday inn). Needs room spray in the commode room, as there is no exhaust fan. Being able to open the door one-handed was difficult, but that’s perfect for the period of this hotel so that is a welcome annoyance.

Our room was large and very comfortable. It’s an interesting old time Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very good, close everything downtown , within walking distance. The adjoining Lee Street station restaurant(I think it’s just breakfast and lunch) was very popular and good for breakfast. It was once I imagine, a very beautiful lobby and parlor on the ground floor. Unfortunately, like most places in Deadwood, it was furnished with slot/gambling machines. Also, the in room refrigerator did not work.

I loved how it takes you back in time. It was a very quiet hotel and everyone was so nice. The locations was perfect as we were close to everything in the town.

This hotel is one block away from the historic main street . It was a perfect location. The room was beautiful if you like antiques. My only complaint was that there really wasn't much hot water in the shower.

Perfect location, beautiful hotel and decor, friendly staff and atmosphere. The rooms were beyond gorgeous but maybe a brighter light bulb in the bathroom to shower or shave.

This whole place is amazing from friendly staff to the beautiful cozy rooms! Have not found a single thing I didn’t like!

Exceptional themed room. It was like stepping back into the late 1800s with some modern conveniences. Staff was friendly and very helpful...they treated as like old friends. Nothing

The decor, convenience to downtown, and staff. Loved that there was complimentary water and pop. Access to ice after the bar closes. The neighboring bars were open to letting us get ice from them. A fridge in the rooms would be convenient.

The room was clean and cozy. Short walk to everything around deadwood. Na

The lighting in the room was way too dim. The shower was almost completely dark when you closed the shower curtain. It was a little expensive for the value.

The bed was comfy but bathroom area was not adequate. No shower and toilet in a room smaller than a portable outhouse.
